Agnes Sorenson's eyes slowly opened and where there was once a hospital room filled with monitors, the smell of antiseptic and an underlying scent of death she found herself in a place she could have never imagined.

Instead of a room she awoke to the sight of a beach and at it's shore a seemingly endless ocean.

As she took in the scene before her she realised that the color of everything from the sand to the water had a strange hue to them. The sand beneath her feet had a almost grayish tone to it and the water instead of being clear and rippling was completely still and a impenetrable black that was so thick that even though it faced a muted parody of a sunset reflected no light.

"What is this?" she asked in shocked almost whisper.

"Marie!" she cried reluctantly looking away from the strange and unsettling sight before her. Turning in a circle she tried to catch sight of a place she might go for help or someone that could explain this nightmare she had awoken to.

Just as it seemed like she was alone she caught sight of a strange light in her peripheral vision seeming to glide gracefully toward her.

Hope began to bloom in her chest as she turned toward the light. As it drew closer she found to her surprise that it was a person. Agnes opened her mouth to greet this stranger when just as they were close enough to touch the glowing visitors face came into view.

Gazing upon what she once thought was a possible savior her brown eyes darkened in pure hate turning them so dark they were almost black and her lips lifting into a snarl.

"SANG!" she growled in a voice filled with loathing and disgust "What... " but just as she was prepared to unleash her vitriol on the bane of her existence Sang raised her hand cutting off her tirade before it could begin.

Some instinct forced her to do what she tried never to do look the whores daughter in her face. Her eyes moved over the girls face her fury growing as she took in every aspect of her perfect face nothing seemed out of the ordinary until she reached her eyes.

As she looked into Sang's green orbs she saw something that caused a small sliver of dread slide down her spine. In those eyes she was so used to seeing filled with fear and pain there was defiance and a almost ageless knowledge.

"Sang" she said this time her voice holding notes of nervousness and uncertainty.

Upon seeing this the illuminated vision before her smiled shook her head and said one word "No".
