The next morning, I woke up to Taylor not being beside me; I felt around and found a piece of paper on his side of the bed. I grabbed it and turned on the light next to my side of the bed. It read:

Morning Beautiful,

I'm sorry I couldn't be there when you woke up, but I will see you tonight. Wear a swimming suit; I have a surprise for you. I'll see you at seven, I love you so much!

Taylor

I read the note several times and couldn't wait for the surprise he had for me. I realized that my swimming suits had to be packed in one of the many boxes around the floor. I started digging through one of my many clothes boxes, coming up with nothing. It was almost one and he was picking me up at seven. I resorted to calling Makena to take me shopping.

"Hey, it's Carmen," I said after she picked up the phone.

"Oh, hi Carmen, what's going on?"

"I need your help picking out a swimsuit to wear for my date tonight with Taylor. I looked through all my clothes boxes and I can't find one."

"Ok, what time do you want me to pick you up?"

 "Whenever is most convenient."

Makena came over half an hour later, she honked her horn three times and I came out.

"Thank you so much for doing this with me," I told her getting in the passenger seat.

 "Oh no problem."

We drove over to Beverly Hills Bikini shop, one of the best bikini shops in the city according to Makena.

"This place is to die for," she said as we got out of the car.

We walked in and there were only a few other girls in the shop. I found a few bikinis that I really liked but decided on going with a blue bikini that really brought out my eyes.

"That one looks stunning on you," Makena commented.

"I love it, this one is perfect," I told her.

I bought it and then we went to grab some lunch then she drove me home.

"Thanks again, I'll see you soon," I told her getting out of the car.

Later that night I put on my bikini and then dressed in a dress I found in one of my clothes boxes. Taylor was there precisely at seven and he came through the door with a bouquet of red roses. "Oh Taylor, these are beautiful," I told him as he gave me the flowers. "Thank you."

He hurried and changed then led me out to the car.

"Ok, for precautions so you don't peek I have a blindfold for you," Taylor said pulling a piece of cloth from his back pocket.

He wrapped it around my head covering my eyes and helped me into the car. "You aren't even going to give me any clues," I ask.

"No, I think the swimming suits were enough information."

He grabs my hand and squeezes it. I smile and wait. It took us around twenty minutes to get to where we were going. He opened the car door for me and helped me out. I could hear the rush of water from somewhere in the distance.

He then grabs something from the backseat and takes the blindfold off of me. In front of me was a secluded beach with a blanket, a few candles, and a little boom box with music playing.

"What is all this," I say walking forward.

"This is my way of celebrating the future, to your schooling, the engagement, and you moving in."

"This is beyond perfect," I told him.

"Well come on, are we going to look at it or actually eat and enjoy."

Taylor grabs my hand and pulls me forward, a picnic basket in the other hand. We sit down on the blanket and he starts unpacking the picnic basket.

"Let's see we have sandwiches, chips, grapes, and your favorite chocolate covered strawberries," Taylor says naming off items as he pulls them out.

I grab the grapes first and start eating them.

We finished most of the food minus the strawberries and Taylor asked "do you want to go for a swim?"

 "Sure."

He pulls off his shirt, while I pulled my dress up over my head. "Whoa, you look stunning," he said, looking me up and down.

"Thank you, give credit to your sister though for helping me pick it out."

He laughs then pulls me up into his arms by surprise and rushes us both out to the water.

"Is it cold," I asked to afraid to get down.

"No, it's not bad," he says gently setting me down.

I may have exaggerated but it still was a little cold.

"Oh gosh that's cold."

We walked deeper into the water me sometimes protesting because it got colder. Taylor picked me up again and plunged us both underwater. I went above surface and we both laughed, I grabbed the top of his head and pushed him down underneath the water still laughing. Before I knew it he grabbed me by my legs and pulled me over his shoulders.

"Taylor put me down," I scream and laugh.

"No, this is for pushing me underwater," he said taunting me.

He was still holding me and we both went under the water. Taylor pulled me back up above the surface and kissed me with all his might. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he grabbed my thighs and pulled me up so I could wrap my legs around him not breaking the kiss.

He pulls back and I say "Thank you for this," motioning towards the picnic and then continued with "thank you for being you."

"I love you Carmen," he said.

"I love you too Taylor," I told him and kissed him again.
