***ONE MONTH LATER***

After school today Taylor and I met up for lunch, he said he had something to tell me. I pulled into the parking lot at subway and Taylor was sitting in there waiting for me. He got up and hugged me then I sat down on the other side of the table.

"You said you had something to tell me," I said after ordering a drink.

Taylor nodded. "Yeah, I do. Um, I have a job opportunity in New York. It will only be for a few weeks, and I want your opinion on if I should take it."

What was I supposed to do, tell him he shouldn't take it? Of course he should take it, I shouldn't stand in the way of what he loves to do. I wouldn't be a very good girlfriend/fiancé if I kept him from this opportunity.

"Are you kidding, of course you should take it."

"Really, are you sure?"

"Yes of course you should take it, I'm so proud of you," I say leaning over the table to kiss him.

He shares my enthusiasm and kisses me back. "Thank you, I love you."

"I love you too. When do you leave?"

His next answer was what startled me a little bit.

"This Saturday."

So Taylor was leaving this Saturday and was going to be gone for almost three weeks. It's almost October now, so he would be back just in time for Halloween.

"Ok." I didn't know what else to say.

Taylor left on Saturday and I drove him to the airport. I stopped at security because I couldn't go any farther. He turned to face me and pulled me into a hug. "I love you Car," he said whispering in my ear.

"I love you too Taylor," I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

He walked out and I watched him leave the airport. Out in the car I started to cry. I kept it in all week; I didn't want to make this a burden for him seeing me cry. He needed to go, and I couldn't make it harder on him.

The first week went by really fast, I had plenty of schoolwork to keep me busy and I hung out with Cassie and she helped me with wedding plans. Our wedding was scheduled for June eighth a mere nine months away.

On Sunday of the first week I heard my laptop ringing and had to move most of the wedding stuff to answer. When I did Taylor's perfect face that I missed so much appeared.

"Hey babe," he said smiling at me.

I couldn't keep the smile off my face and said "Hi."

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you too," I said blowing a kiss at him. He did the same and I blushed.

"I wish I could see you in person," Taylor said looking at me longingly.

"I know, only two more weeks."
