POV: Mike
We are riding back from the arcade. We had a good time. Eleven didn't really get into it because she didn't quite understand what do to. Lucas managed to beat Max's high score which didn't go down well with Dustin.
Me and Eleven are going back to my house. For the past week Eleven has been staying with me and my family. Hopper is on Sheriff duty in Delphi and isn't able to take care of her for now.
We arrive at the house and hop off my bike. We should get her a bike of her own. Carrying her on the back of my bike is tiring. The good thing that comes out of it though is that we can talk and I know she is safe with her arms wrapped around me.
I roll my bike into the garage and me and El walk into the house together.
"You hungry?" I ask El.
"Yeah," She replies, "Eggos?"
I laugh, "What did I say about real food?"
El sighs, "Ice-cream?"
"Nope."
"Chips?"
"No El," I laugh again, "Tacos?"
Eleven smiles, "Yeah, I like Tacos!"
I grab the taco packed out of the pantry and start cutting up some vegetables. Eleven slumps down on the seat in front of me.
"Tired?" I ask.
El nods and rests her head on the table.
My mom walks into the room.
"Oh, you're home already," she smiles.
Mom walks over to Eleven and kisses her on the head.
"Hi sweetie," she says, "did you have fun at the arcade?"
Eleven nods again, "The boys taught me how to play. I'm not very good though."
My mom smiles at her, "I'm sure that with a little practice you will be great."
She only recently met El but already they have clicked and she loves my mom, not as much as she loves Will's mom though. Most school days El, Will and I walk to Wills house and her and Joyce sit down together and play board games.
Eleven has now become a huge part of my life. I am always nice to her and am probably a bit over protective of her. If I lost her again, I don't know what I would do.
