POV: Hopper

"Stand up!" I say taking the girls bloody hands.

She pulls herself up, shaking, using my arm for support. I put her arm around my shoulder and we slowly walk out of the tiny room. I look outside and check that the coast is clear.

"Let's go," I whisper, "and be very quiet, they can't catch us."

We both walk slowly back down the hall, me half carrying the girl. We get back into the room where they were previously examining her and to the entrance to the sewer without a problem. I climb down the bars before grabbing the girl and lifting her down. I climb back up before shutting the lid. I get down we start walking back the way I came. We got out of there easy, almost too easy. I won't dwell on that though, right now I need to focus on getting this girl safely back home.

"Whats your name kid?" I ask.

The girl looks at me for a while before answering, "Lesley."

"Well, Lesley, I'm Jim. And I'm gonna get you back somewhere safe, okay?"

"Okay."

"So, where are you from."

"I'm from Cleveland," Lesley says, wincing as the water splashes around her raw ankles.

"You're a bit far from home aren't you then?"

"Yeah," she murmurs.

"So why were you in there?" I ask. I know that its unlikely she will answer but its worth a try.

She looks down, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay, fare enough."

*skip the hours of walking in the sewers

"Are we here?" Lesley asks. I can hear the exhaustion in her voice.

"Yep we're here."

I climb up the ladder and take the lid off of the opening to the sewer. I climb out and Lesley climbs after me. She waits as I call for a taxi, just before the taxi stops Lesley pulls me away and the last thing I see is her grimy face as I feel something hard hit my head.

POV: Lesley

I grab Jim and hit him over a head with this metal thing I found on the ground. I feel sorry for him, he's nice, but I don't know who he works for, he could be a spy. So I drop the chunk of metal next to his unconscious body and climb into the cab screaming at the man to drive

*skip car ride

"Stop here," I yell at the driver.

The car stops and I jump out of the car and the man quickly speeds away. I look up at the sign above me and grin. 'Welcome to Hawkins - enjoy your stay' it says.

"I sure will," I smirk.

A/N Hey guys, I hope you like it. This is extremely hard to write because I have to keep with the themes of the previous seasons. Also does anyone have any suggestions of any good reads? Comment your own books if you want, I just need something to read.
