"I'll pick you up at 6." I said on the other line. "That sounds nice, see you." Divine said. "I have a surprise for you."

     "Huh? Ano yun?" tanong ko. "Basta. It's a little surprise to improve our 1 week together."

    I let out a chuckle, "I'll look forward to it."

    My friends were right, kung magiging masaya si Ana doesn't mean I need to suffer. Tsaka, panandaliang landi lang to like the old days.

      "Where are you going daddy? Are you going to get mommy?" tanong ni Brooke. "Not yet, baby. I'm going to work. I don't know when will mommy come back because Richard took her."

      "But daddy Richard is a nice man. He wouldn't take mommy." sabi nya. "But he did, baby. If you see him, don't ever come near him." sabi ko at niyakap sya. Richard will never get my daughter away from me.

      My secretary called me and reminded me of my meetings today. Hayy, it's time for me to focus on other things rather than Ana.

     "I'm going, baby." sabi ko at humalik kay Brooke. "Thank you for watching her you guys." sabi ko kay Ren at Tasha.

    "No worries. Don't worry about Ana. Sinapian lang yun kaya nya nagawa yun." sabi ni Tasha.

     After 4 hours I finally got some work done. "Good afternood Sir."

"You're finally back in your old self." sabi ng boss ko. "I never left." ngiti ko.

     "I have someone to introduce." sabi nya and invited a girl inside. I just let out a smile in my face. "Surprised?" she asked.

    "Architect CJ Ferrer." I led my hand. "Engineer Divine Padrigao. Nice to formally meet you."

    "Oh, you look like you know each other already." ngiti Mr Nam. "We do, kinda acquaintance."

    "Our biggest client wants the both of you to work on a small public hospitals." sabi nya. "Hospitals? Like how many?"

   "They talked about 3 around Vigan and Cabugao." Divine added. "Do they have a deadline?"

  "That wasn't discussed with me. But I do know it isn't the extravagant hospitals. I think you should talk to them on their own."

    "Thanks sir, we'll inform them."

      "Looking forward to your works." sabi nya at umalis. It was nice to be back. 

      
     "So, happy 1 week?" tanong nya? "I told you, hindi naman ako---"

    "I know that. So am I but I want to enjoy this kahit landian lang." sabi nya. "Let's just talk about the account, hm?"

    "Okay, sige." sabi ko. "I should just try to call them." sabi nya and dialed their number.

 
       "Good afternoon, Mrs Arbonyel."  "Yes, that would be great." she continued.

     "When are they free?" tanong ko. "Today, 4pm." sabi nya naman and packed her things.

     "What? That's literally 2 hours from now." I asked. "Yeah, so better hurry and try to smart up. Like Mr. Nam said, they're the biggest client."

    "This is literally the 2nd time I've heard of their surname how are they the biggest client?"

      "Hindi ba nag ibang bansa ka? Malamang talagang hindi." Inukutan ako ng mata, aba?

    We were earlier than expected para ma orient ako kahit papaano. "They run hospitals, clinics, Mr. Arbonyel used to be a chef from France."

    "Bakit kaya tayo ang Pinili nya?"

      "Good afternoon, Ms. Padrigao and Mr. Ferrer." They said and shake hands. "Good afternoon ma'am, sir." Divine gladly offered them to sit.

"Rosalyn Aronyel."
"Ian Arbonyel." "Kindly, call us in our first names."

   We were served all kinds of liquor. "So let's just get it straight through, we want 1 in Cabugao, Badoc, and Paoay." sabi ni Ian. Wow, that's really not an easy thing to do.

     "Do we have a time limit for every hospital?" Divine asked. "Hmm, 9 months?" Rosalyn said.

     "Oh, Mr Nam told us na hindi ganoon ka garbo ang gusto nyo. But by your deadline is long enough for a 5 class." I let out a chuckle.

       "No, hindi namin kelangan ng susyalin na ospital. Enough for 5,000 people to fit in." sabi nya. "And find a place where it can't be flooded."

"We can get one done in 7 months." sabi ni Divine.

      "Honey, 2 of the hospitals in 9 months." ngiti ni Rosalyn. I almost spit out the wine I was drinking. "Rosalyn, that can't be. We'll lack time."

   "Money is not an issue." sabi ni Rose. "Uhm, kahit na po. We're really going to lack time."

"Do you wanna know why we picked you?" tanong nila. "You too looked like you'll find a way to get the job done. I mean, we have connections everywhere. All we hear is you, Ferrer. And you, Divine you were a graduate from New York."

   Nakayuko nalang kaming dalawa. Wala Pa man akong ginagawa nahihiya na ko. "Now, will you find time or I'll find another construction firm to work with?" tanong nung Ian.

   Nagtinginan nalang kaming dalawa ni Divine. Napailing sya pero Her sigh meant it was a go. "We can do it." ngiti ko.
