"Oh my god, is that her?"

"I heard she slept with Drake, why would he want that?"

"Cause she's stunning, look at her!" 

"I love her hair, but I hate the way she walks"

"I heard he calls her pet names, like green eyes"

"Her eyes aren't even green, stupid"

The murmurs and whispers all blend into one after a while. I can't tell who's calling me pretty, or who's commenting on the way I walk, or who thinks I did what with who. All I know is I'm so, so sick of the rumors.

Ever sense Rudy's horrible party I've had people coming up to me and asking if I slept with Rudy, or if Drake and I are dating.

I'm so sick of it.

Why can't they just start their own drama to put their two cents into? Why can't they just. Shut. Up.

It's been two weeks since that night and they're still talking.

"Did you hear me?" I look over to lock gazes with Luke.

"Hmm?"

"I said there is this thing... it's just a stupid dance that's coming up... if you wanna go with me, or anything. We could just go as friends... but it's-"

"Actually, it's the one on the twentieth, right?" I already know what he's going to ask but I can't go with him... or anyone for that matter.

"Yeah... why?" He asks.

"Well I dont really go to school dances anymore. Bad vibes, you know?" I feel bad for blowing him off like that, it would have been harmless. He just wanted to go as friends, right?

"Oh... um, that's okay"

"But hey! I'm sure you can get any girl in this place, don't worry about it" and I'm right.

Luke can easily get any girl he wants in this school. They all fall head over heels at his, Drake's and Hakeem's feet.

My brother isn't doing too bad himself either. I've seen him flirting with a bunch of girls from the cheerleading team, and Tatiana seems to have a thing for him. Speaking of which, dear reader. I'm sure you'd like to know that I have tryouts next week on Monday for cheerleading. The only thing that sucks is the mascot... the bears.

I don't know if you've noticed but bears aren't the best mascot. I mean have you ever watched the movie 'the bad news bears'? And lets be real, when you ask someone their favorite NFL or NBA team no one ever says 'the bears'.

Either way, it seems I'm going to be judged on my cheer abilities next week. Wish me luck?

Luke mumbles something about not wanting other girls, but I choose to ignore it.

"So, I guess the guys and Tots are going to come over to my place after school, wanna come?" He asks.

"Yeah, is Ryan coming?"

"Yeah, he is indeed a guy, Nick" he laughs. I roll my eyes and punch him lightly.

"Nichole." A girl with flaming red hair walks towards Luke and I with an icy glare. "If I hear that you so much as look at my boyfriend again, ill make you pay." She stops in front of me with two of her friends behind her.
