🍓Chapter Ten: Caught Red-handed🍓🍓Strawberry Sweet 🍓
My eyes flutter open. The bright Saturday morning sun hits me. The events of last night hits me, and Luke standing over me with a pillow hits me.
"Wake up!" He shouts hitting my lower abdomen again with my bright purple pillow.
"Go away!" I grunt and roll over in bed.
"No, seriously. Get up you have to come see this" okay, I have to admit. That intrigued me.
I crawl out of bed and throw off my blanket. Wait... I should have said that the other way around... I throw the blankets off of me and crawl out of bed. The carpet greets my feet with softness and I run after Luke in my short shorts and cropped tank top.
"Shh, come here" he whispers slightly opening Ryan's bedroom door. I near him and poke my head in the door.
"What is it?" I ask Hakeem who is crouching next to Luke.
"Look" Hakeem demands pointing into the room with a whisper. I turn my head to see Tatiana snuggling Ryan with her bare arm wrapped around his bare chest. I can tell they aren't wearing clothes due to their clothes of last night scattered on the bedroom floor, but thankfully they are covered by Ryan's white bed spread.
"Holy shit!" I whisper as Luke closes the door. "Should we wake them?" I ask.
"No way, lets play Coy. When they wake up to get breakfast we will act like we don't know about this then Boom! We drop the mic on them" he chuckles.
"Caught red-handed, I like it" Hakeem comments next to me. "C'mon" he gestures for us to follow him.

Dad didn't come home last night. I had sent him about twelve texts sense I woke up. He hasn't replied yet. I sit at the table, watching my phone with my elbows on the table and my coffee in hand.
"Nick, why is it that when we first met you, you told up to get out because you were," Luke air quotes "'indecent', yet you sit here now, without a problem wearing the same outfit?" He asks.
I shrug, "I have gotten to know you guys a lot more sense then I guess." I sip on my coffee and look back over to my phone.
"I guess that makes sens-" Luke is cut off by Hakeem.
"When did you get a belly button piercing?" He asks, I look down at my blue crystal jewelry.
"I had asked my mom to get me this for my sixteenth birthday. It was when I decided to ch-" I stop myself. "Anyways," I wave my hand dismissing the matter "It was from my mom, so I could never get rid of it" I sip on my coffee once again.
"Didn't your mom pass away?" Luke asks quizzically.
"No, she moved to the Bahamas with a water ski instructor and had seven tanned brats" I say so convincingly that I almost believed it.
The boys look to each other with a questioning look then back at me again.
"Guys, I'm kidding. Yeah, she died" I chuckle. It was then that I realize, I have come to terms with my mothers death. I'm okay with it. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I would have wanted it to happen but I'm simply realizing that no matter how much I cry, or how much I pray for her to come back, she won't. It's as simple as that. She's gone.
