🍓Chapter Nine: Strange Dreams🍓

🍓Strawberry Sweet 🍓

"Nichole? Did you hear what I said?" Drakes voice echos throughout the black obyss that surrounds us.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Drake?" I ask reaching out to touch him.

As soon as my fingers reach him he vanishes into thin air.

I look around in haste but all I see is darkness.

"Nichole?" Totiana's voice echos from behind me. I turn around quickly to see her standing behind me with a grim expression. "Why did we stop talking? I thought we were friends." Her face contorts into anger. "I hate you!" She shouts then vanishes the exact same way Drake had.

"I cant belive you chose him, Nichole." Luke's voice greets my ears along with a sob. "You never even gave me a chance" He cries falling to the floor with his face burried in his hands.

I run up to him to comfort him but as soon as I step forward hes gone. "Luke, wait!" I cry out.

Im left alone in the darkness again.

"How could you distance yourself from us, Nichole? We were your only friends." Hakeems voice growls with anger, laced with disgust. I turn to my left to see him just in time as he walks away with his back turned to me, displaying his broad shoulders as the blackness engulfs him.

"Whats going on?" I scream at nothing.

I turn all around me, in every direction in hopes of some light.

Thick tension fills the air along with an ear spliting silence.

"Tsk tsk." I turn around and see my white haired twin pointing a gun in my direction.

"Ryan?" My voice comes out barely over a whisper.

Before I could take another breath he pulls the trigger, and bang!

I wake up in cold sweats.

I touch my forehead to feel sweat.

My body tempreture is hot but the liquid is cold to the touch.

I sit up in the familiar area and take in my surroundings. I'm in my room but something doesn't feel... right. It's too cold, it's too dark. Maybe it's just the weather changing. It could just be the rain. It washes down my windows, surly doing damage of some kind to the pale yellow paint on my house.

I sit up in bed and let out a shakey breath ridding me of the heavy feeling  weighing down my chest.

It's been raining an awful lot lately. It's the end of summer so I know that's probably normal but I can't help but miss the spring, when everything's in fresh bloom. The flowers wake up after months of cold and the grass regains its green vibrant color.

"You're up" Drake's voice pulls me from my thoughts.

"Uh, yeah. What happened?" The last thing I remember was being at Luke's house with everyone watching a movie.

"You fell asleep so everyone thought it would be best to come back here to hang out so you could rest in your own room" he explains handing me a glass of water.

"Thanks," I say taking the glass from him and taking a sip. "Is everyone down stairs?"

"Yeah, we're playing a game. Wanna join us?" He asks with a knowing smirk.
