The New Winx *ON HAITUS*

Chapter Two: Off to Class

Mikayla and Nicki rushed to class in a hurry. Being late for the first day of school isn't good, especially if you go to Alfea.

(Mikayla's POV begins)

Once we reached Poladium's class, Nicki and I were out of breath from running so fast. We opened the door to reveal our quiet class who was now staring at us as if we had our pajamas on, didn't wash our faces, and didn't comb our hair.

It looked awkward to tell the truth.

"Welcome girls", Poladium says, "please take a seat."

I sit next to Jasmine, one of my friends, and Nicki sits next to me.

As Poladium begins the lesson and teaches a new spell for us to learn, I feel a tap on my shoulder before I can begin writing in my notebook.

I turn my head around to face Erin, another good friend of mine.

"Where were you? You and the new girl were 3.57 minutes late, and you know that's not good! You better hope Grieselda doesn't hear about this!", she says in an angry but concerning tone.

"Oh Erin, so technical, just like your mom.", I say smiling.

She smiles and laughs a little. She loves it when people say she acts like her mom.

(And yup, you've probably guessed it. Erin is the daughter of Tecna, one of the members of the Winx, and the previous Fairy of Technology.)

"And I don't think Grieselda would find out..." I say. I'm not so sure about that though.

"You better hope she doesn't find out.", Erin says.

I turn around and face forward again, copying down the notes from the board.

"Now each of you will demonstrate two spells. One of them, the spell we just learned, and the other, that you have mastered and accomplished.", Poladium says.

The spell we just learned just now is a spell that can allow us to control anything or anyone. It sounds pretty cool, I guess.

Poladium looks around the room, and then chooses the first person to demonstrate.

"Erin!", he says, "you will be the first person to demonstrate."

"Okay", she says cooly.

She whispers to me, "I got this. I already know how to do this spell anyway."

"You do?"

"Well, sorta kinda. I've mastered it by 97%. I'm pretty sure I'll fully master it by today."

(Nicki's POV begins)

The girl who sat behind Mikayla,
Erin, walks to the front of the class confidently. I can't help but notice her outfit. She's wearing a white top with a blue vest, and blue shorts. She's wearing a light blue Converse on left shoe, and on her right shoe, she's wearing a white Converse. It's pretty cool.

Once she gets up front, she breathes, and says: "Magic Winx!"

She transforms, and her Magic Winx outfit is simple, yet stylish. She's wearing a white and blue bodysuit. The sleeves are white and the rest of the bodysuit is a light blue. I really like her headpiece. It's a cyber flower crown. The crown is made up of cybercodes, and the flowers are blue and white. Her shoes are blue high heeled boots that stop at her knees.

All the girls stare at her in amazement and awe.

She activates her wings: airplane wings. And does the control spell perfectly. She makes something like a magic sphere, and focuses all her energy just like Poladium taught us. She controls the dry erase maker, and uses it to write something on the board. After she is done, everyone looks in amazement at what she wrote.
