My Red Blanket

My blanket is red
just like the blood in your veins
that pumps through your heart
that keeps you alive and
that makes me so grateful to have met you. Because I love you.
So keep on breathing in that warmth to people, like how my red blanket does, so people will know why I love you - so that they may love life and be just as grateful as I am for meeting you.
