Replaced

He sees me.
He knows me.
We used to talk so much,
our eyes locked on each other.
But now he walks by:
his eyes locked on his phone screen.
How does a digital device
replace a human being?
I'm not sure but maybe he
replaced me with it because
he got replaced too.
