I had it in my head to meet that girl. But I wasn't sure how I would do that, so I let it be for a while. I asked Aizen about her.
"That would be Orihime," he answered, "she has an interesting power, so she has some use to me."
"Does she know who I was?" I asked.
"Yes," he answered. "What will you do?"
"I'm going to talk to her," I kissed his hand, "don't worry, I belong only to you."
As I tried to walk out I was roped back into the room by Aizen, "You're not getting away that easily."
The next day I set off to meet Orihime. I followed Ulquiorra, who had been bringing her food, to the girl's room.
I offered to take it in for him. He nodded, "It would be good if I could get her to eat without forcing her. But I sense you would have better luck."
As he walked away I took a deep breath and walked in. She had her back to me looking out the window.
"The moon is quite dazzling isn't it?" I said.
She turned around swiftly, she slowly approached me. As she came close she hugged me, "It is you, Ichigo."
I was uncomfortable with how she said that. I pulled her off me by her shoulders, "How about eating first and then we can talk afterwards."
Her stomach answered for her with a growl, "I guess that's probably for the best." She laughed lighthearted.
After she finished eating, I explained that I had amnesia. Her face fell, "So you don't remember anything?"
"Sorry but no," my stomach was twisting in knots. Something was wrong here, but I didn't know what. I wanted to leave, "It was nice meeting you."
She grabbed my sleeve, "We have to get out of here. Even if you don't remember, surely you can figure out that Aizen is the enemy."
Ah that's why, "Sorry, but I have to disagree with you there. Aizen is not my enemy." I was angry with her, and I didn't know if I could keep it in any longer. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way."
She let me go, "But."
"Goodbye," I slammed the door behind me. I sighed, "I shouldn't have done that." I punched a wall making a significant hole in it.
I went to my room to see if I could clear my head. I just paced around, it was not helping though. I yelled, swinging my sword around wildly. I sank to the floor, the furniture in shreds.
"Why does it bother me so much?" I asked myself.
I decided to go see Aizen. Leaving Zangetsu behind I headed towards his room.
After I arrived I waited for a while before he finally came. "Ulquiorra told me you went to see Orihime," he said.
"Yeah," I turned towards him, "she's from what I don't remember, isn't she."
"Yes," he answered, "so, what will you do?"
"She considers you an enemy," I told him.
"That's understandable," he admitted.
"But as of right now," I continued, "I don't see you that way. I was angry when she suggested that you were my enemy. The furniture in my room is torn to pieces because of that."
He walked over to me, "The furniture is not a big deal. We can just get new ones."
"I've come to a decision," I kneeled to him, "that regardless of what I remember, I will always stay by your side."
"How can you be so sure that you won't turn against me once you have your memories back?" he asked with a bitter face.
I took one of his hands and kissed it, "I'm certain of this because I love you."
