I was utterly exhausted from Aizen having his way with me, but I was still awake. He was lying down next to me twirling my hair.
"Aizen?" I spoke up.
"Yes, Ichigo?" he soothed.
"I remembered a little more of my past," I was struggling to stay awake, but I knew I had to say this now. I could feel his hand stop, so I continued, "I remember my dad and that he ran a clinic. He was comforting me after my mom died." I could feel his hand begin to twirl my hair again. I turned on my side towards him. "I think that you ought to meet him."
He sighed, "I don't think that would work out too well."
"Why not?" I snuggled into his chest, "both of you love me so that's a good starting point."
"Don't think about it too hard," he kissed my forehead.
I rubbed his chest, "How come you don't have a hole?"
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Starrk, Lilynette, and Grimmjow have one," I explained, "I saw others with one just passing by. I didn't see Halibel's but I know she has one. No matter how hard I looked for it I didn't see anything like that on you."
"That's because they are hollows," he explained.
"Hollows?" I blinked.
He smirked, "Did you forget that too?" He ran his hand through my hair, "I'll wait until you're fully rested to explain, alright."
I didn't get to answer as I drifted into sleep.
I was back in my inner world, this time I was with an older man instead. He had a black coat and glasses. He also had black hair and a scruffy beard.
"Zangetsu," I greeted, "long time no see."
"It seems you haven't forgotten me, good," he replied, "We have much to discuss and not enough time."
"What does that mean?" I questioned.
"First things first," he continued, "you need to remember what a hollow is."
"I'll just wait until Aizen explains it to me don't bother with it for now," I brushed it off.
"Hollows are spiritual beings," he continued.
I was a little annoyed, "Don't ignore me."
"That devour other spiritual beings," he finished.
I froze, "What?"
"Now that I have your undivided attention, I'll continue. Hollows are souls that have lost their hearts, or the core of their being. They then don a white mask that protects their raw instincts from the outside world."
"But Starrk and the others have are hollows, and they don't have complete masks."
"That's because they are Arrancars. Hollows that have fused with many other hollows to the point they lose themselves are the Gillians. After many Gillians fuse together, they create the Adjuchas. From the Adjuchas the Arrancars are then made. The ten strongest Arrancars are called the Espada. The exception of this rule is Espada number nine, (), who is still a Gillian."
"This feel too much like lecturing to me," stated Shiro. I glanced over to see him sitting down next to me.
I started to feel my body disappear.
As it did so Zangetsu said one more thing, "No matter who you decide to fight for I will fighting along side you, remember that Ichigo."
As I fade away I'm suddenly on the riverbank. I see two little girls bruised, facing two older boys. I felt my blood boil, those were my sisters. As I ran towards them I picked up the closest stick and put myself between them.
I was beaten badly, but I managed to protect my sisters from harm. When I got home dad gave me a scolding.
"What were you thinking? Do you know worried I was?"
"Did I do a good job protecting them?" I interrupted him.
He looked at me in shock. Then he brought down his fist on my head. "No," he yelled, "because you didn't win." He huffed, "Next time win." He hit his head, "Wait no, don't let there be next time."
I got into several more fights after that, each time I would get reprimanded for it. At some point he would start attacking whenever I came through the door.
I woke up to Aizen gently brushing by my cheek. When he noticed I was awake he smirked. "Sleep well?" he teased.
I sighed, "It started off decent enough, but then it ended weird. I got a decent explanation on hollows and the Espada from Zangetsu."
He raised an eyebrow, "Oh really? Did you remember anything else?"
I sat up, "I remember about my sisters... and how my dad has a weird way of showing affection."
"Well since you're awake," he kissed my ear, "let me show you my affection."
