After we got back to Urahara's shop, I ate something I tried to apologise to Rukia for puking on her.
She gave me a scowl, then it turned to guilt, "I apologize, I shouldn't have done that. I thought you needed a little something to get you back on your feet. I didn't think it would backfire like that."
"Well at least you were trying," I smiled, "Thanks."
She smiled back, "No problem." She stood up, "Well, I have to go back now, good to see you're alright."
"See you around," I said as she walked out of the store.
I decided to go home. As I made my way there, I noticed the lack of people, not to mention cars. It was still in the afternoon, so it didn't make much sense. As I got more anxious I started to walk faster. Soon I was running to my house, my heart racing. When I finally got to my house I threw open the door. No one was home, I searched throughout the house even in the clinic.
I turned towards the sound of footsteps to see Urahara behind me.
"Where is everyone?" my head started to pound.
I saw his lips start to move, but I couldn't hear his voice. Suddenly, pain was shooting throughout my body. My mind went blank, there was only pain. Something touched me, it only made it worse. I tried hitting it away, it seemed to work. I squirmed into the position that was the least painful.
I was fading in and out of consciousness, until I felt numb. I passed out.
I was in my inner world again. This time, the buildings were all cracked and crumbling. I searched for Shiro and Zangetsu. They were nowhere to be seen.
I search for what felt like forever, before I was pulled back out.
I was surprised to see Aizen carrying me in his arms.
"Has it been a week already?" I asked tired.
He nodded, "Have you decided?"
I rested my head on his chest, "Take me back."
He smirked, "As you wish."
