I walk casually down the sidewalk, pretending not to be as excited as I am.
Back in the park I see the blue box again.
It was still there, good.I walk over to it and knock politely.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" A voice says from the inside.
I smooth back my hair and listen to the footsteps as they get louder and louder.
A tall man with curly brown hair in a suite opens the door.
"Can I help you?"
I can't help but giggle.
"I'm sorry, but what's so funny?!" He questions.
"No, no," I try to contain my laughter.
"It's just, I didn't except someone who walks out of a box that fell from the sky to look like you.""Is there something wrong with me?"
"It's just," I giggle again, "The bowtie."
"What about my bowtie?" He straightens it.
"Bowties are cool.""I'm aware." I burst out laughing, and he does too.
"So who are you, and why did the do the knocky.. Knocky thing?" He asks.
"Well, I saw a old english phone box fall from the sky, I couldn't help but to investigate."
"You have to be the first person to put it that way."
He jumps at the loud CRASH that came from the inside of his box.
"STRAX DON'T TOUCH THAT!!!" He retreats to the interior and screams.
"Inferior machine!" A monotone voice growled.
I peer into the box, and see a its huge console room, and a short alien man with a giant potato-like head.
"I'm sorry miss- I just realized I don't know your name!" The non-potato-man shouts.
"Aria! It's Aria" I yell back.
"Aria! Brilliant! I'm sorry Aria but I have to run, see you around!"
The door starts to close and the engine hums.
Without thinking I jump through the doors into the console room and the doors slam themselves shut.
