"Okay, I couldn't help but notice, your drinking wine." The doctor announces his observation.
"How do you figure?" I giggle, taking a sip.
"Honesty doctor it's not like I'm trying to mooch the good stuff off you. Mister-I-can-just-aim-my-sonic-at-an-atm-and-become-a-millionaire.""Who said I'm paying for dinner?" The doctor smiles and I burst out laughing.
"Your such a gentleman." I laugh.
"You really are a lot like her..." He mutters.
"I'm like who?" I crane my neck, trying to her what he said.
"Oh, an old friend of mine."
"A companion?"
His face softens and his big sad eyes bore into my soul.
"Yeah, something like that."
I had a sinking feeling he was talking about a girlfriend of his, but then mentally slap myself for thinking so pettily.
I put the glass to my lips to hide my reddening cheeks.
"Little miss I'm only 20 years old drinking Bordeaux."
I spray wine everywhere laughing hysterically and trying not to choke even more.
I turn back to the doctor and flash him a wide grin, noticing the glint in his eyes.
My smile widens even more.
"Speaking of which, since your, you know, 20 years old. Why are you still living with Jack and Afton? Shouldn't you be... You know... Going to college living on your own flat, shopping... Like a normal girl."
"You saying I'm not normal?" I giggle.
"That's not what- I didn't mean- No!"
"Haha, I know what you mean. But believe it or not, I kind of already graduated from college."
"What?! No your kidding!"
"I have my masters in science technology."
"But you had to be what, 19 when you graduated?"
"Yeah actually. My mind is a little different from other people's. I learn faster than others and have more brain capacity. I graduated high school when I was 15."
"Your kidding me right?"
"Yeah, I'm totally lying." I burst out laughing.
"I almost believed you for a second there." He says in between breaths.
"But no. When we first met in Chiswick, I had just moved there to study. My term would have started just a few days after you picked me up actually."
"Oh really? So are you just giving up on your studies then?"
"Pretty much." I smile.
"Traveling with you is much more fun."He smiles.
"Well I hate to be holding you back from advancing in your education... But if its what you wish."I smile back.
"You are very considerate."A waiter walks up behind the doctor and hands him a piece of paper.
"I'll be right back." The doctor says, stepping out to the bathroom.
Minutes later he comes back and sits down.
I look at his beautiful brown eyes, they were clouded. Curiosity flickered around my brain.
I gestures waiter over to our table.
"Would you like some wine doctor?"
I ask him."Yes, please." He responds.
The waiter starts to pour some in his glass and I lean across the table.
I grab onto his bowtie and pull him toward me, smashing his face into mine in a soft kiss.
I pull back and wipe my mouth, cocking my head and smirking as the doctor falls onto the table, smashing a glass and turning heads.
