Chapter 7

Good bye.

"Hello Nick." I heard a voice say. It was ruff, sharp, and low. "W-who is there?" I asked, trying to open my eyes. "Do not struggle little one, you have been blindfolded. You shall come to no harm." I heard the voice chuckle, " but, your little friend will. Here you see." As my blindfold was lifted, i was face first into Leader, i was tied by chains, i could not move my legs nor my arms. "W-what? What is happening?" I asked. "Look now. Your... Friend.... Is with us." I looked around the room, trying to see who was there, but Leader stayed in front of me, blocking my vision. "Let me see him." I begged, and tried to turn my head. A sharp pain erupted within me. "I will, within time. But, you must listen to him suffer first." "Wh-What no!" I yelled. "I always thought you where to soft. But yet i still seen you on a mission, which you failed. You see little one, i trusted you to kill him, and, we are able to hear what you are thinking. You remember the crystal ball right? Well, it was us that sent you those voices. We know that you can not kill him. So we shall do that for you, but as punishment, you must die as well." Leader smiled, he gad a happy look on his face, yet, his blue eyes said ' murder '. Leader went on about me be weak, not being able to do such a simple task. "Oh, and, you and Matthew's death shall be broadcasted live, to tonight, at eight P.M. You may say your good byes. He's going first." Leader walked out of the room, no longer caring what could and will happen to us. For all i know, Leader is singing some lullaby, having the time of his life.

I heard that jackass

'Good.' i thought. "Matthew?" I called. "Y-yeah?" "Do you know whats happening?" I could hear Matthew struggle against his chains. "No, i-i don't." I sighed. "Look, we are in planet Qen, my planet. And my Leader, he is the one who chained us up, wants us dead, by eight P.M. You see, i have done something very wrong, which i have told you the story, but i will repeat it. The bad is rewarded, while the good is punished, with death. I have been good, so now we both shall die, do to me not killing you." I heard Matthew gulp, i could tell he was scared. "Do you understand now?" I asked. "Yeah. I do. I'm just, scared." I was not scared, i knew that Leader would not really kill me, he would kill Matthew. I had an idea, but i could not think about it. "Matthew, you shall be the one to die tonight. Leader would not kill me. He needs me. I am sorry." I looked straight forward, knowing i could handle to hear him cry. "I-i understand." "But i will not let you die, not tonight at least." I turned to see Matthew, though it was hard to do so. Matthew as well tried his best to turn to me. "Wh-what do mean? I don't get it?" I gave a reassuring smile. "Do not worry. You shall live. I promise." "Than what will happen to you?" He asked. I looked forward, a bloody tear formed. "You shall see." My smile faded than, i knew that something like this could never be true. But, I had to do something, anything, i just needed a plan. A good plan. "Matthew, i need you to reach into my pocket, and grabbed a salt packet. Okay?" I asked. He nodded, and reached for it. "I almost got it- AH ha!" He said, " hand it to me." I reached my arm out as mush as i could, and grabbed the packet. I ripped it open, and used my nails to cut my skin open, i held back tears as water dripped through my open wound. I put salt into it. "O-okay, Matthew. I will get you out of there soon." I held my breath, and thought out an enchantment. My body trashed formed into a human, making it easier to pull my hands out of the chains. It took longer to get my feet out. I was soon able to get free. I walked over to Matthew, "ready to escape?" I asked. I looked through my pockets to see if i hand anything useful, but of corse, with my luck, nothing came up. "Your going to have to stay here a little longer." And with that, i left through the unlocked door. I kept thinking about me still tied to the chains, but i knew that would not be the best idea, so i went to thinking about what i would stay last, when i die. As i walked out to an open hallway, with no one in it, i opened the first door to the right, it was a pure, white room, nothing was in it. So i went to the one on the left, it was purely gold, with a statute of Leader. I sighed and tried to take off one of his fingers, which i was able to do, but it was not strong enough to break chain. So i left and went to the next room. After mindless minutes of looking, i ended up in the last room, here where millions of weapons, i took a dagger, and ran, it was out and ready for anything. I heard feet bang across the cold flooring. So i hurried back to the room with Matthew in it.

"I am back." I announced, and began to break he chain, "i need you to hold still, so do not move, or i shall cut you." Matthew nodded and looked away. Holding himself mentally. "Q-quickly! Please?!" I slammed the blade against the iron chain, which with my strength and the strength of the chain, the blade broke. "Shit!" I yelled as it snapped back, slicing my hand open. "What happened?" Matthew said looking back at me with. "I just cut myself. Do not worry i will get you out." I walked back out, but i heard Matthew struggling against the chains, "WAIT!" He yelled, as i turned around " b-be careful, i think that some soldiers are coming." I turned back around. I could not say another word, nor will i.

Time passed as i aimlessly looked through every room, some had other Qens in it, while others had no one, or a T.V.

I walked into a room, slowly opened the door, hoping no one was there. But there was a T.V. on, which showed Matthew and Leader. My body tightened as i watched what Leader said. " Nick shall always be the pain in us, trying to keep a human alive. Do you know what this human did?" Leader stood there, broadcasting live across the nation, he looked sad, and disappointed. " the human murdered thousand of us, for fun. If we allow humans to do this, than we shall vanish from existence." Leader lied, lied, and lied again. I clenched my fist, though i could still feel pain. "Nick! Hide!" I heard Matthew say before Leader stuffed down a sock into Matthews throat. "No, no i will not hide. I will find you. Save you. And get you home." I bit my lip, watery tears forming down my human face.

I ran. I was not sure of where to run, but i did anyways, i tried to find my way to the crystal ball. 'Damn damn DAMN IT!' I screamed in my head. My mind raged with anger as well as my body.

I stopped suddenly. I read a big sign saying 'crystal ball' so i opened the large colorful door. Matthew stood, next to where the portal would be made. "Leader. I have come to -" leader cut me off. "You betrayed us. All of your kind. And yet you come to talk to me in such a form. I should have you killed. I shall have you both killed.i should be the one to kill you." I walked closer to my leader. "No. I have came for a trade. You see Leader, i am more important to you than any other of them. I am smart, wise, and strong. You need me, more than i need you. Let Matthew leave, alive, and head back to earth, allow him to live, until old age kills him off." I swelled with pain, the salt was starting to effect me. I could feel myself becoming Qen. "You are right." Leader said, "i do need you. But how do i know that you wont betray me?" "I will not do so, not again. I will do anything you ask, except if it involves Matthew, or earth for that matter. I will love under you forever, allowing you to control me, just like you have always wanted to do." I could tell that Matthew was trying to scream, and yell. But he knew as much as i knew that it was not going to work. "I shall accept your offer. Matthew," Leader said and turned to him. "You shall be granted life, and freedom, do not upset me again boy." And with that Matthew was sent back to earth, though it was not like how i was sent. Matthew was sent with millions of bodies holding him, making sure he does not get hurt, nor miss Earth. "Now Nick, you shall be punished with.... Death." I nodded, but still stared at the crystal. Matthew stood on the streets in front of his apartment. He looked to the sky, and whispered "i love you." The crystal ball went black. "Leader, i will die today." I still stared at the crystal ball, as i saw through the reflection a man with a sword, amid to my head. At first he tapped my head with the back, getting ready for the real blow. "You have always been a good kid." I stayed still as i saw the sword rise higher and higher, it struck smoothie through my scull, cracking. I still had three minutes for life left until i start to loss my senses. "Anything to say?" Leader asked. "Why yes," i paused. "Fuck... You." A minute pasted,allowing me to live through my past. "You do not hurt me with words little one." Leader smirked. But no matter what, i never took my eyes off of the crystal. "I obesely do not give a single fuck." It was odd, even in my last minute of life, i still found time to swear. But only one thing was on my mind, only one person stayed in my mind. I had ten seconds left. I closed my eyes, and laid down. The worst was yet to come. Past death was the real pain and agony. But only I shall experience that.
