"Why are you painting it yellow?" Sam asked as he popped open one of the can of paints sitting on the floor.
"Because, it's a gender neutral color."
"I have never seen a boy or girl with the room color yellow," He laughed.
I rolled my eyes, a smile playing on my lips, "Well, this child is going to!"
"Lord have mercy on this child," He laughed once again, as I pushed him playfully.
"Just take a brush and start painting!"
"Yes ma'am!" He smiled and poured some paint into the tin and rolled his brush into it.
"Look mommy!" Jaycee spoke cheerfully, pointing to the little paint mess she made on the wall.
"Nice baby girl, I like it."
Her grin got bigger as Sam gave her a thumbs up. She giggled and continued moving her brush this way and that way onto the wall; I was going to have to paint over her beautiful art work to make the room look a little professional, but for now I was just going to let her have her fun.
She has been really weary lately, and I believe it is because of Justin.
Since he has been home the last couple of days she has been staying away from him. But it is not like it showed having any effect on him. He has practically ignored her and everyone else in the house myself included.
The only time he talks to me is when he is yelling. Yelling about something not being right, or about how ungrateful I really am.
I asked him when he was going back on tour, which was probably the wrong thing to ask but did so anyway. His reply was "fuck tour, what have any of those fucking fans ever do for me? Fuck scooter too, I'm the reason his rich, hell I'm the reason you even have money!"
I could tell by that sentence that something was really off with Justin. I have never heard him say anything bad about his fans, and the fact that he is ignoring his own daughter, and treating me like I am shit on his shoe, indicated something was wrong.
But I don't want to believe it. Any of it. I don't want to believe that the person I love has something wrong with him. I am not ready to face what might be going on. Instead I will just hope, and pray that whatever it is, stops soon. That I will soon get my Justin back.
"Where's Bailey?" Sam interrupted my thoughts, as he asked.
"Oh, she's with Jeremy her new little boyfriend."
"Ew bay's got a boyfriend?" Jaycee asked, scrunching her nose.
We both laughed.
"Someday you'll have a boyfriend," Sam spoke.
She shook her head, "No way!"
I smiled, "That's my girl! Boys suck!"
"They gots cooties mommy!"
"Do I got cooties?" Sam asked a playful frown etched onto his face.
She nodded, "Yes, all boys do!"
Sam set down his brush and slowly walked over towards Jaycee, "Well you better run then, cause I'm about to give you my cooties!"
Jaycee screamed and ran towards me in a fit of giggles as Sam began to chase her.
"Mommy! Help!" She giggled as Sam grabbed her and began to tickle her.
I crossed my arms across my chest laughing, "We are never going to get any work done with you two, I can already tell."
