Chapter 25
Ethan was planning a date with Sophie that night so he called Sophie's best friend,Amanda,to buy him a cooler wardrobe to impress her. He bought her a ring and a teddy bear hoping that it'll make things up. He was setting up the date in his room and layed out the blanket and placed the picnic basket down. Plus,he was so nervous,he even checked the inside of the basket about a hundred times just to make sure he packed her favorite foods. He took his phone and sent a text to Sophie that read:
To:Sophie
Please,meet me in my room @ 8pm. I promise you won't be disappointed. I hope you can make it. Love ya<3
As soon as he sent that text,Amanda walked in with the shopping bags. She had black,fluffy,shiny,long and curly hair with sunglasses.
"I'm here." Amanda announced lifting her sunglasses and rose it to the top of her head.
"Thanks,I'll go change in the bathroom. Be right back." Ethan informed grabbing an outfit from one of the bags. When he left to go to the bathroom,his black skull and cross boned case phone lit up signalling he got a text from Sophie. Amanda couldn't help but read it but she gasp as she read:
To:Ethan
Sorry,Ethan but I don't think I wanna go to the date. I'm still kind of mad at you.
"Poor,Ethan." Amanda murmured to herself. Ethan walked inside his room wearing a black leather jacket,concert tee,black jeans, a pair of sneakers and biker gloves. He rolled up his sleeves then he noticed Amanda looking nervous.
"What's wrong?" Ethan asked.
"Nothing..." Amanda lied.
"Are you sure?" Ethan interrogated more.
"Actually Ethan,I have something to tell you." Amanda announced.
"What?" Ethan asked.
"Sophie just texted you and said....she's not coming to the date and that she's still kind of mad at you." Amanda explained. Ethan had tears welling up in his eyes. He bursted into tears and ran off. Austin walked in and asked curiously,
"What happened? Why did I just see him crying?"
"Sophie's not coming to the date because she's still mad at him." Amanda repeatedly explained.
"Oh..." Austin sounded.
