Chapter 31
Sophie got dressed in her black attire and put her amber hightlighted hair up in curly pigtails and put her bangs to the side. Later,Austin was in Sophie's room as she explains the nightmare she had sitting on her bed next to her when he began to verify,
"So you were four years old and Senkhara threatened you?"
"Yeah,she said I would never escape from the underworld and demanded I obey her." Sophie added.
"That's so weird. And you used to wake up screaming from those nightmares,they went away and now they're back which I don't get. I even woke up screaming from a nightmare like that,too. It was the same." Austin reported.
"Austin...I never thought I'd say this but I'm scared. What if she kills me and sends me back?" Sophie says in her newborn tears.
"Hey,don't talk like that,alright? I will never let anyone hurt you,I promise. As long as I'm alive,you'll be safe. I'll never let anything bad happen to you." Austin comforted wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer. He pulled her in for a hug. As they separated,their arms slowly try to slide away from each other. While,Austin was looking in her beautiful brown eyes when he couldn't help but kiss her. Ethan just happened to waltz right in there just in time to see them kissing and shouted,
"What are you guys doing??"
Austin and Sophie jolted up as Austin defended,
"Ethan,I can explain."
"Go ahead." Ethan replied walking forwards causing Austin to back up growing more and more nervous.
"You shouldn't be mad at her. I kissed her. I swear that kiss meant absolutely nothing to me or her." Austin explains.
There was a moment of silence as Ethan stopped in his tracks and began thinking.
"I forgive you." Ethan stated.
"I just got caught up in the moment-wait...did you just say you forgive me?" Austin asks.
Ethan nods.
"Ethan,you do realize I kissed your girlfriend,right?" Austin spoke.
Ethan and Sophie chuckled then Ethan continued,
"I understand. If you say I shouldn't be mad at her and that the kiss didn't mean anything to neither of you, then I'm cool." Ethan exclaimed.
"Thanks,Bro." Austin uttered heading out the door. Ethan and Sophie sat on her bed and started to kiss.
