"Tyler?" I couldn't believe it. I blinked harshly, yet he still didn't scurry back to what ever hole he climbed out off.

His perfectly set jaw, broad shouldered, fresh trimmed, chocolate eyed self stared right back at me. He didn't even look shocked to see me with that smug smirk shadowing his face.

I reached up and slapped him.

"What the f'ck was that for?" He grabbed his face where it was currently turning red against his tanned skin.

"Just incase I missed a spot from the last time." I crossed my hands over my chest.

He grinned. "God, I've missed you."

"What are doing here? Did you follow me?" There were times I could have sworn I had seen him. That time at the cafè, in the club yesterday, but I thought I was just imagining things.

"No. I could ask you the same-" He stopped talking when Gabe slowly approached up the corridor. As he got closer, Tyler asked, "Do I know you from somewhere?" Completely ignoring me, Tyler conversed with Gabe whose eyes remained fixed on me. I shrugged my shoulders and rolled my eyes. He hesitantly looked away and faced Tyler.

This was just perfect! My ex showing up, although given the circumstances, how the f'ck could Tyler be here? How does he even know Alex?

"Nah, mate. I can't say you can." Gabe stood a few inches away from Tyler, as if sizing him up. Tyler was bigger than Gabe in terms of height, and that added to his weight. Tyler was 6'1, that meant that Gabe was at least 5'11 and slightly toner with more defined features- My God! Was I just comparing them?

"Oh. Never mind." Tyler faced back towards me as if remembering my presence. He always seemed to forget I was always there. "As I was saying -" he did a double check on Gabe. "- I'm sorry... can we help you?"

"Oh yeah...um I saw you come in before me. You drove that black Honda, right?"

"Yeah, and...?"

"You can't park there. They tow vehicles and send out tickets...with all the cameras and stuff." Gabe lied smoothly out his teeth.

"Oh sh't, thanks." Tyler pushed himself off the wall and jogged down the corridor. Once he was out of sight and earshot, Gabe asked:

"Is he going to be a problem?"

I hadn't looked at him. I just stared at the spot where Tyler was last seen. This can not be happening. This isn't happening.

"Yep!" I popped the 'p,' knowing all too week what Gabe planned to do. I heard him sigh before he walked down the same hall, filling in the spot I was staring at.

Seeing Tyler in person just made me realised what I had planned to leave back home. I needed to get away, and here he was at my door step - well not mine, but still. I could my whole demeanour just deflating with each second that passed by, leaving me a little less Amber and a lot more pale in spirit.

The buzzer sounded, and this time it was Gabe to which I had opened Alex's door to. The poor guy was still sprawled on his sofa, mindlessly sleeping away with his soft snores. I returned my gaze to Gabe who looked a little bit more ruffled, or had I not paid attention to him before. I shrugged my shoulders allowing him to enter and do what ever it is that needed to be done.

Gabe handed me a pair of black gloves. I got them on after furiously pulling and blowing inside trying to get them on. It was typical procedure.
