New adventures

“Lilly wake up,” said Meredith, “I am to leave back to Arccmoore soon,”
Lilly opens her eyes and gets out of her comfy bed. Lilly washes herself up and gets ready for the day.
“I am going to miss you Meredith,” Lilly said holding in her tears
Meredith hugs lilly and puts the veil on her, “I will see you at your wedding,”
Lilly gets up and looks at Meredith. They both leave the chambers and walk to the front door. Surprisingly Eric and Johnathan are at the door.
“It was lovely meeting you Meredith,” Johnathan said, “we will take good care of her until the wedding”
Meredith nods her head and starts to enter the chariot.
Lilly runs after her, “give this to my father” Lilly hands Meredith a portrait of her mother
Meredith looks at the portrait with tears rolling down her cheek, “your father burned all of the paintings of her after her death, he will be touched that you kept this.”
Meredith gets into the chariot and Leaves. Johnathan put his hand on lillys shoulder and leads her back into the castle.
“Eric why don’t you and Adam take Lilly shooting?”
Eric looks at Johnathan and nods without saying a word. Lilly follows Eric as he walks down the hall, She noticed that Eric slowed down to stay at the same pace as her. They reach the stables and Adam was swinging a sword at a scarecrow. Lilly goes up and gently pushes him and he falls over.
“you’re keeping your legs together, make them at shoulders width and you won’t be able to get knocked down easily,” Lilly said
Adam listens to her and moves his feet, lilly pushes him again and he doesn’t budge.
“thank you Lilly” Adam says with a big grin
Eric walks up to lilly and hands her a bow and a Satchel of arrows. Lilly tightens the arrows at her waist and looks at the bow. Eric was staring at Lilly while she examined the bow.
“Is something wrong?” Lilly asked with a stern voice
“no, its nothing” Eric says
“what made you want to know how to fight?” Adam asks
Lilly looks down at him and she bends down to his height, “My mother insisted that a queen should know how to fight in case the king is gone or dead, and I like to hide my hideous face behind that helmet” Lilly snickers
Eric chuckles, “I don’t believe that, You must be beautiful”
Lilly blushes and gets up, “lets get on horses shall we?”
Lilly walks up to the pure black horse in a separate stall than all the other horses.
Eric runs to Lilly and holds her shoulder to hold her back, “lets ride a tame horse” he said
Lilly looks at him and shakes out of his grasp, “I sure he's not that bad.” She said
Lilly walks to the door and opens the stall. The horse jumps on its legs and stomps infront of Lilly. she stands her ground and reaches for the horses snout. It tries to bite her hand but she moves it away. The horse eventually gives in after a while and lets Lilly pet her. Eric and Adam look at her in shock.
“that horse has been untamable for weeks, how did you manage to do that? Eric asks.
Lilly looks at eric while putting a saddle on the horse, “I have a way with animals.” She says bluntly
They jump on their horses and ride into the Woods. Lilly makes her horse go faster than Eric so hes not near her but he manages to catch up.
“Lilly wait up, you don’t know your way around the woods.”
Lilly get off ofher horse and shoots a squirrel in the top of a tree, by the time Eric makes it to Lilly she was putting the dead squirrel in her satchel. They make it back to the stables and Adam ran to lilly
“how was it? Did you shoot anything?”
Lilly hands Adam the dead squirrel and he gasps, “you got its eye!” she screamed
“I thought it was his chest.” Lilly said looking at the dead animal in his hands.
Adam draws his sword,”can you help me?”
Lilly draws her sword and knocks Adam with one blow on his sword. Eric jumps in and Fights Lilly, After a while Lilly finds out his weakness and Whips his hand with the side of her blade, Eric drops his sword and puts his hands up
“you win” Eric said panting
By the time they get back to the castle the sun was starting to set. Johnathan and Agatha were in the dining hall waiting for them. Lilly sits down across from Agatha and Eric sits next to Lilly. Lilly shifts her seat away from Eric and starts to eat.
“how did you like the horseback riding Lilly?” Johnathan asks
“it was very nice sir” Lilly says
Adam bounces in his seat and blurts, “Lilly tamed the black horse and shot a squirrel in the eye and she helped me with sword fighting and she even beat Eric”
Eric looks up at Adam glaring, “I let her win. It was a gentlemanly thing to do.” He said in a sarcastic voice.
Johnathan looks at Lilly with wide eyes, “can you teach me some sword fighting? I am getting old, so I am forgetting a few things and I believe Eric would need a lesson or two as well.” He says with a wink
Lilly snickers and continues eating. Eric brushes his hand against Lillys. Lilly blushes and moves her hand away. By the time supper was over Eric Pardons the butler and walked Lilly to her chambers.
“I will see you tomorrow then?” Eric asks
“I believe so.” Lilly said
Eric takes lillys hand and presses his lips to her knuckle.
