Lara’s POV
Louis shows us around, trying to avoid huge crowds of people. See, at sometimes he can be a nice lad even though I barely even know him. Wait, correction, I definitely do not know him.
Jamie, Louis and I pass a group of drunkens. I wonder is Harry is here…he should be, I mean it is his best friends frat house party. Hell, Harry probably lives here.
“This is my room, do not go in it.” Louis says.
“Why would we go in your room?” Jamie asks. Jamie doesn’t think. That isn’t the type of question you should ask Louis.
“Well, you see babe, when you get drunk and find a man, you’re gonna want a room. Mine is off limits and so is that one.” He points to one at the very end of the hall. Literally it’s at the very end, facing us. Who in the world would pick that room? I mean obviously it’s in plain sight, everyone is going to just go straight to that room. Some people are so idiotic.
“I think no.” Jamie says, while Louis just chuckles.
“Wait, Louis, who’s room is that, down there?” I point to the end of the hall, to the door in plain sight.
“Harrys.” He says and starts to walk away and just leaves Jamie and I standing there. What was that about? I only asked a question. It’s not like I knew that was his room our anything. Plus, why would Louis care? It’s not like he’s a really ‘caring’ type.
“Now what do we do?” I hear Jamie ask me. She stands infront of me with a blank look on her face. I guess she’s shocked about Louis too.
“Want to see if he’s in there?”
“LARA! Are you crazy?!”
“Yes, I think I am.” I walk towards Harrys bedroom door and stop when I get there. Jamie is right behind me. She really didn’t have a choice because I knew she wasn’t going to go back downstairs with a crowd of people she doesn’t know, who are all drunk.
“Lara, you shouldn’t do this.” Jamie whispers.
And with that, I put my hand out and grab the door knob. Here goes nothing. I twist the knob and slightly crack it open, and peek inside. I don’t think he’s in here, so I open the door all the way. To my surprise he’s sitting on his bed writing in a brown leather journal.
He slowly turns around and just stares at Jamie and I. “Get out.” Harry demands us.
“Why?” I ask
“Lara, I’ve told you so many times you don’t want to get involved with me. Now take your little friend and get out of my room.”
“Why don’t you come down to the party?”
“I don’t have to.”
“Well isn’t this where you live?”
“Maybe.”
“Harry, answer me.”
“No I’m not answering you. I don’t want you to get involved with me.”
“Maybe I want to get involved with you.”
“No you don’t.” He says and stands up, slightly walking towards us.
“Come on Lara, lets just go back down and try to find Louis.” Jamie suggests to me.
When Harry hears her say Louis, his face falls and shoulders start to sag. What in the world is with the boy?
“Louis?” He questions, “Why do you need Louis?”
“He’s the one who invited us. We were supposed to just hang out and talk, but turns out it’s a party.” Jamie and I say in agreement.
