What do you think is gong to happen next?
Lara’s POV
He said the three words I have feared he was going to say. I don’t know if I ‘love’ Harry. How do I know this isn’t a game or bet he’s playing? I’ve only known him for two days. Yes, I care about him. Yes, I like him. I’m just going to say it, I do want Harry and I to be a lovely couple. But, I can’t ‘love’ him in a matter of just two days.
Right now I’m walking down the side walk, hoping to see a cab (taxi). Yes, I left Harry after he told me he loves me. It’s all so much. First I find out that he’s a boxer and is going against someone in a higher weight class than him. Then he marked me. Now I’m all soaking wet because of him. He just had to chase after me then tell me he loves me.
I just want to go him. Thank god he’s not following me. I squint down the street, trying to see through the pouring rain. I’m pretty sure I see a yellow car coming my way. Hopefully it’s a cab.
The car stops next to the curb. It is a cab, but something about the driver doesn’t seem very normal. I get in anyway and give him my flat address.
Even though my parents are going to yell at me, I’d rather go home than to Harry’s.
The cab driver keeps looking back at me. It’s starting to freak me out. I’m actually now wishing I did have Harry here with me. The driver is on the bigger side, but definitely had muscle. His hair looks like he just got out of bed, his eyes are like the very dark dark brown, it almost looks black. To be honest, he actually looks like a cop. But in a creepy, strange way.
We come to a random stop, not even close to my parents flat. Why the hell did we stop?
