We finally got home at about 5:30 am. I was exhausted, overwhelmed and in desperate need of sleep. That nightmare completely messed me up and I was so lost. Why would the nightmares come back after such an amazing week? Nothing bad happened, I didn't feel sad either. The opposite actually. There was literally no reason to get them again.

My eyes were dropping shut as Dom locked the door behind us. I had gone without sleep for much longer, but that nightmare took all of my energy. Dom noticed I was pretty much falling asleep standing right there and he pushed our suitcases to the side. 'We don't need these until the morning, come here. Let's go to sleep.' Dom grabbed me and picked me up. I had my arms around his neck, resting my head on his shoulder, as he carried me upstairs to my bedroom.

Dom put me down on the bed slowly and pulled the covers over me. 'I'll join you in a second, let me lock up everything first,' he whispered. Dom placed a soft kiss on my forehead and turned off the lights. I was so tired that I fell asleep right away and didn't even realize he came back in and slept besides me.

I opened my eyes when I felt a big, warm hand rub my arm softly. 'Good morning babe, I thought I should wake you up before you sleep your day away. It's 11 am,' Dom said quietly with his beautiful, husky morning voice. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the side of my face. I smiled as I opened my eyes a little.

We got up and tried to turn ourselves into functional human beings again. After eating breakfast, we started unpacking our stuff. Dom was also leaving his stuff here since he wanted to spend some time together.

Music was playing loudly as we put everything back where it belonged. We spent about and hour clearing out our suitcases and then decided to clean up my bedroom. We were already doing so well, why not continue.

Dom was showing some of his amazing dance moves every once in a while. It gave me butterflies seeing him do his thing. I smiled as Dom mumbled the lyrics of the song and made small movements, probably not even noticing it himself. It looked so cute.

I put my hands on his shoulders when he kneeled down in front of my closet drawers. 'Done,' Dom said as he pushed the drawer closed. My hands moved down his muscular chest. 'You're the best,' I said. He put his hand on mine and squeezed it softly. He then grabbed my hands and turned towards me. 'I love you so much Lilly. I know I tell you this a lot, but it's true. I really, really love you and I'll support you no matter what happens.' A shy smile appeared on Dom's face and he looked adorable. I sat down on the floor in front of him.

'I don't even know how to thank you for everything Dom, you were always there for me when I didn't believe in myself or when bad things happened. You stayed by my side even after I did something terrible and you stayed so supportive and loving. I really do not deserve someone as beautiful and amazing as you.'

'Yes you do,' Dom said as he wrapped his arms around me tightly. 'You deserve everything and more. I'm so proud to be able to call you mine.' I smiled and closed my eyes. 'I love you so much,' I whispered. Dom let go of me and then cupped my cheeks. 'I love you too.' He pressed his forehead against mine and a tightly feeling spread throughout my body as we looked into each other's eyes. Dom pressed a soft kiss on my lips.

Dom was leaning against the drawers, with his arm around me, and I was resting my head on his chest. My hand was on his abs, covered by Dom's hand.

We just sat there, on the floor in my closet, listening to the songs that were playing. I don't even know how long we were sitting there. Or why were sitting there. But it was amazing. Just a time to escape from everything that was happening.

I shut my eyes as Afire Love by Ed Sheeran played. The song may be a bit old, but his music is amazing. His songs just had such an amazing vibe.

When I opened my eyes, it was dark around us. I heard a soft snoring and realized Dom and I had fallen asleep right there. I lifted my head from his chest and looked up at Dom's face. He looked so peaceful. I smiled and put my head back down. After moving a little closer to Dom and wrapping my arms around him, I closed my eyes again and slowly drifted off.

The most beautiful moments don't cost lots of money. They don't take lots of talent either. All they take are people that truly love and care for each other.

Moments like this.

Not what you may think of when you think of a romantic moment. No big production, no planned out dates, no steamy kisses. Just two people, sharing a strong love for each other. Something like that means so much and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Moments like this are the reasons why I love being with Dom. They just happened. And they made me forget all my problems for a while.
