Chapter 31 the memory that bothers Lumi

3rd person POV

Silk clenched her hand as she watched her older sister inside Yuki's body. But her anger was overflowing when she saw the sister of hers flirt with men. Her sister's personality is shy, gentle and kind. She would never do these things, Teresa stared at the assassin fuming with anger then glanced at the 'maid' Yuki. From the look of things, she (Silk wasn't all that much different from Reime who's protective of her siblings) didn't seem to be much like Ignes like his previous hosts.

"You have it hard too." (Teresa)

Yuki turned around confused why she had felt a very ominous aura directed at her. Silk's eyes were saying permission to get rid of this fake.

"Hold up, from what I can see that's still your sister's soul in that body as for who she shares it with. We've got no clue unless we run by a god to check for us." (Teresa)

"Fine." (Silk)

Lumi POV

I'm on Jasmine's lap because she said my breathing was unusual so I might have a cold so she made me lay down on her lap to sleep. To make things worst she doesn't even consider the fact I'm a guy. But then again it probably has to do with Kaguya being a vampire and raising her since she was young.

But I seem to be getting sleepy, well I was heading to my room to sleep anyway so I don't mind a little sleep. I started nodding off as she patted my head gently.

~ Lumi's dream ~

"Eh? It's fine isn't it. But it's not like I'll get burn taking a hot bath in a active volcano. It's also a hot spring in there." (???)

"Are you insane. Even if your race is a Phoenix what would you do if the volcano blew up." (Emily)

"No worries aren't I still here. (She's using her words carefully to not set off Emily) Besides a Phoenix can take the heat from something hotter than that volcano. See look aren't I just fine." (???)

She twirled her body around to Emily. Her white and red priestess attire twirled along with her. Though her long glossy green hair shined like grass in the sunlight glowing brightly. I stared at her glossy hair as she nodded satisfied.

I jolted awake when someone shook me awake. But I stared at Kaguya blinking confused for a moment but I felt sad. Remembering about a childhood friend of mine, she's a Royal like Rain. The only difference was she died and I couldn't remember anything besides her outfits and her hair color. It's been too long since then, plus I felt guilty.

Kaguya stood over me like a tower but didn't say anything more. But her expression was telling me she was jealous of me being able to use Jasmine's lap. But I couldn't help but frown, why does my past have to be so complex. I have a feeling some of it will comeback to bite me.

"Damn. I can't even remember at least the face of hers. Stupid, stubborn.... girl (Lumi is in denial that he forgot her name due to it being too long.) even in my dreams she freaking acts so carefree." (Lumi)

"Who." (Kaguya)

I flinch when I felt her ominous aura that's going to kill me if I don't talk. Ok I might've been a goddess in my previous life but current me is half fairy and half elf. Sure I have a bit of my divinity but against a immortal vampire and me being useless I probably can't even do a simple teleporting spell.

"An old childhood friend of mine whom I've long forgotten what she looks like due to it being too long." (Lumi)

Or the fact that she died some many centuries ago. And I don't remember her face anymore since she died, she's the type that you can't forget but she's annoying for being optimistic. Normally you wouldn't forget such a individual since she'd stand out so much. But it's been so long that my memories of her are mostly distorted. Example my dreams where I can't even see her face anymore. It seems I'm forgetting things these days too, I mean too many characters in this otome for me if you count part 1, 2 and 2.5.
