After the two women kissed, Zoe buried her face in Lucifer's neck, trying to hide her blush. Zoe could hear Lucifer chuckle, making her blush even more.

When Zoe finally took her head out of Lucifer's shoulder, she smiled up at the older woman, the blush returning to her face. "Hi," Zoe whispered shyly.

"Hi," Lucifer whispered back, giving a wide smile that showed off her white teeth. Lucifer suddenly scooped up Zoe, taking her to the bedroom. Lucifer pulled off Zoe's boots, throwing the small woman on the bed before taking her own off. She pulled off her jacked, also stripping Zoe of her blazer. {I swear they're not having sex}.

Lucifer got on the bed, snuggling under the blankets with Zoe, wrapping her pale arms around Zoe's equally pale waist where her shirt had rode up. Zoe snuggled into Lucifer's chest, falling asleep easily to the scent of wood smoke and popcorn.

When Zoe awoke the next morning, she had to untangle herself from Lucifer. The older woman groaned, waking up and smiling up at Zoe.

"Hey, sleepy head. Time to get up," Zoe gently murmured, trying to get Lucifer to get out of the warm bed. Lucifer only groaned, burying her head in Zoe's stomach and wrapping her arms around her waist, keeping the younger woman down.

"No, I don' wanna," Lucifer's muffled voice whined, burying her face even deeper in Zoe's stomach. Zoe laughed, running her fingers through Lucifer's hair.

"I'm sorry, love, but we have to. We both have to go to work, sadly enough." Zoe tried to pry Lucifer's arms from her waist, but only succeeded in making the ebony-haired woman whine and bury her face even deeper into Zoe's stomach.

"Nooooo," Lucifer whined, trying her hardest to stay in bed. Zoe sighed and tried to just pull Lucifer out of bed, almost succeeding until the other woman realized what was happening.

"Look, it's Saturday, right? That means no school, so I can spend the rest of the day with you. You can even come to my hair appointment," Zoe bargained, smirking a little when Lucifer perked up.

"Really?" the scarlet-eyed woman said, hope in her voice. Zoe chuckled, nodding and taking a big exaggerated breath when Lucifer finally let go. She shooed Lucifer out, grabbing clothes to get changed into. Lucifer left with a laugh and a fake pouty face, going to get changed herself.

Zoe pulled out a Panic! at the Disco shirt and a pair of dark green jeans. She pulled the clothes on and grabbed the clothing that Lucifer had pulled off, bringing it to the living room. She slipped her boots on along with the blazer.

Lucifer walked out of the bathroom wearing a pair of black leather pants and a purple tank top, walking over to Zoe and taking the jacket from the stunned woman. "Well, what are we waiting for?" Lucifer asked, smirking a little. Zoe could only nod mutely, in awe of the transformation that Lucifer had gone through in the short time that Zoe had known her.

When they were walking out of the apartment complex, Zoe grabbed Lucifer's hand, looking up at the woman to gauge her reaction. Lucifer only smiled, looking down at Zoe with loving eyes. Zoe blushed, unused to such compassion and love. She could feel her heartrate increase, causing her face to flush even more. Zoe tried to put her free hand on her face to hide the blush, but was stopped by a gentle grip on her wrist, tugging her hand away. "Don't," Lucifer said softly, pulling at Zoe's wrist. Zoe could do nothing but nod shyly, allowing Lucifer to see her face.

They only let go of hands when they got to Fallen Angel, Zoe looking about as red as the waistcoat that she wears.

Zoe thought of the hair appointment all day, realizing that it would be the first time that she had had someone at it with her. She was smiling the whole way through her shift, pretending the black roots weren't showing.

When her shift was over, the blue-haired woman decided to go get Lucifer from work, vaguely remembering that she worked at one of the rival bars, Bad to be Good. She decided to ignore the fact that the author was uncreative and named all the bars after Poison songs, just striding confidently up to the bar.

Zoe noticed her neighbor, Alex, there and decided to say hi while waiting for Lucifer to be done. "Hey, Alex. I didn't know you worked here," Zoe said as she walked into the building, taking a seat and ordering a drink.

"Hi, Zoe. Not to be rude, but why are you here? I mean, don't you work at Fallen Angel?" Alex slid her usual over to her, standing by her on the opposite side of the counter.

"Yeah, I'm just waiting for my girlfriend, Sam, to get off shift. I heard she works here," Zoe said, taking a sip of the scotch. Alex's eyes widened, looking a little shocked by the news.

"You mean she's gay?!" he half shouted before actually shouting "YOU MEAN YOU'RE GAY?!"

"Yes, Alex. I'm gay, and that's why your flirting didn't work. I don't do men. That and you're really bad at flirting. Just saying." Zoe slid the empty glass across the table, silently asking for another one. She had downed two more glasses before Lucifer came out, a little surprised to see Zoe there. "Geez, and people think I take a long time to get changed," Zoe muttered into her fourth glass before draining it and standing up. She wobbled a bit, causing Lucifer to hurry forwards and steady the somewhat drunk woman.

"Let's get you home and sober for that hair appointment," Lucifer murmurs into Zoe's ear, sending chills down the latter's spine. Zoe could only nod her blush coming back full force.

After about an hour Zoe was sober enough to stand and walk on her own, and after about half a tin of breath mints nobody got a face full of her scotch breath. Lucifer also shoved her into the shower after they had gotten home, ordering her to 'stop smelling like shit.'

They had about an hour to kill, so they decided to watch an episode of Doctor Who, getting ready as soon as it ended and bolting out the door. They briskly walked down town to Zoe's hair appointment; she was to get her hair recolored because her natural hair was showing. She wore a dark purple beanie to cover the black that sat on top of her head. Her extra-large Panic! at the Disco shirt came down past her upper thighs and her blazer barely covered it just enough to where Lucifer could just barely see the tightness around Zoe's thighs.*

Zoe strode into the building right as the clock hit four, walking up to the desk and giving her name. The receptionist told them to sit down for a little bit, waiting for the dye person to come and get them.

When it was time for Zoe to get her hair done, Lucifer came too, interested in the process. As the bleach set into her hair, Zoe talked with Lucifer about anything and everything. Lucifer asked the younger woman on a date, already planning it out. Zoe, of course, said yes, excited at the idea of going on another date with her girlfriend.

"So what are we?" Zoe asked as the blue dye settled into her hair, truly curious as to what Lucifer wanted their relationship to be.

"Well, I was thinking girlfriend and girlfriend, but if you had anything else I'm open to it," Lucifer replied, a hint of nervousness seep into her voice. Zoe let out a sigh of relief, letting out a breath that she hadn't known she was holding.

"Yeah, that sounds perfect." Zoe grabbed Lucifer's hand and clasped it tightly in her own, glad to just be near the woman whom she loved.
