The first thing Lucifer did when she woke up was start planning her and Zoe's date. She was going to make it perfect. Lucifer was determined to make this unforgettable. She pulled Grace into her lap and made her black notebook appear along with her glasses, putting them on so that the light reflected off of the lenses and started writing in what she likes to call her death note. {Yes, I am going for a female Kyoya. Shut up.}

She brainstormed possible places and ideas, none of them coming out right. There was another thing she needed. A date. Lucifer looked at the clock and groaned, noticing how it was already 9 o'clock. There was no way that she would go to the bar today and risk embarrassing her in front of the rest of the people on shift. Nope, never.

Lucifer just sighed, resigning herself to a day of nothing until Zoe got home when she suddenly heard her phone go off, playing T.N.T., her ringtone for unknown callers. Just barely restraining herself from saying the usual greeting, she answered.

"Hello, this is Luci—Sam," she said, almost giving herself away.

"Hi, this is Alex from Bad to be Good bar. I've called on behalf of the job you applied for?" the voice on the other side said, his words causing Lucifer to automatically perk her ears up.

"Yes?" Lucifer asked, anticipation and nervousness filling her voice.

"I just wanted to let you know that you got it and if you could please come in for a uniform as soon as possible. That's all. Do you have any questions?" Alex asked.

"Um, would now be okay for me to come in?" Lucifer tentatively asked.

"Yeah, of course,"

"Okay. I'll be there in about fifteen minutes if that's alright," Lucifer said, already getting herself clothes.

"I'll be waiting," she could hear on the phone just before she cut the call off, rushing to get dressed and presentable looking. She brushed her hair, putting it into a simple bet nice looking half-up fishtail braid before pulling her boots onto her feet and hurrying out the door, trying to remember the way to the bar.

Lucifer finally gave up, just simply poofing herself there instead. It was much easier, in her opinion. She walked out of the alley and to the bar, pushing the door open and glided inside, waiting awkwardly at the bar for Alex to find her.

Lucifer's phone started to ring, playing Talk Dirty to Me. She blushed and looked at the bartender before answering the call. "Hello, Zoe," she cooed into the phone, a light blush covering her features.

"Hey, Luci. I was just wondering when this date was happening," Zoe said, and Lucifer could hear the grimace in the word 'date', and imagining Zoe's beautiful features twisted in such a way caused a slight discomfort in Lucifer.

"We don't have to go on it, you know. I can just get out of your life if you want. I can tell you're uncomfortable with the idea. I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to," Lucifer said, a twinge of sadness in her voice.

"No, no it's fine. I was just wondering to see if I need to talk to my lesson bitch, that's all," Zoe reassured.

"Well, what days are you free?" Lucifer asked, pulling the black book out of nowhere and making a pen appear.

"I don't have school or lessons on Saturday, so that works, I just have to use my vacation days for work. The same goes for Sunday, in case it's more convenient," Zoe said, sounding tired.

"I think whichever works, if you need a certain day for homework or whatever, just let me know and I can plan, otherwise we're going on Saturday. Does that work?" Lucifer asked, sounding concerned.

"Yeah, of course. Just let me ask the shift manager. Oh wait, that's me. But, seriously, give me a second," Zoe said and the line went quiet for about 2 minutes before the woman came back, saying "Yeah, Saturday works for me. I got time off and shit."

Lucifer sighed in relief before wishing Zoe a goodbye and hanging up, just now noticing a man leaning up against the bar, watching her with a slight smile on his face. "So, I take it you're Sam?" he said, pushing off the bar and walking towards her.

"Yeah. And Alex, I presume?" Lucifer said, telling herself to get used to the name again.

The man stuck out his hand, watching as Lucifer placed hers on it and smirked, "Alex Armistead at your service. It's actually the other way around, but it's whatever. So yeah, just follow me, I'll show you where you get the uniform," Alex said quickly, turning around and strutting to the employees only door.

"Okay," Lucifer said, a little disoriented with how fast Alex was talking. She quickly got up and hurried after him, almost getting caught by the door on her way in.

"Oh, you'll also probably be waiting tables a little, since we're a little low on staff at the moment, is that alright?" Alex asked, looking at her expectantly.

"Yeah, should be fine," Lucifer said distractedly, taking in the room. She gazed at the lockers and the uniform racks, taking in the racks of dark grey dress shirts—one for men one for women. She glanced at the black slacks, a little surprised over the fact that there wasn't a skirt for the women. Not that she was complaining. She also noted the black ties that she saw on another rack, once again surprised to see a lack of a female alternative. Lucifer glanced at Alex to see how the uniform looked on a person, and she must say, it looks quite nice.

Lucifer turned her attention back to her superior. "So what now?" she asked, a little confused.

"Well, you pick out clothes that you think will fit and try them on. If it is, then you just go with that. See? Simple. Now get picking," Alex said impatiently. Lucifer scurried over to the racks, pulling clothes that seem about her size. When she had about 5 shirts and the same pants, she looked around, checking for a place where she could change.

"Oh, there isn't one. I'll be out in the main area. If one fits, come out and let me see," Alex instructed, looking over Lucifer's frame. "Oh, and you can just wear those boots o yours, just keep them under your pants." Lucifer just nodded, hanging the stuff on the end of a rack.

Alex walked out and Lucifer got started, discarding her jacket and just pulling a shirt on over her coincidently dark grey tank top. She tried on 3 of the shirts before finding one that fitted, moving to the pants next. She only tried two before finding the one that fits well enough, tucking the shirt in, putting the tie on, and walking out of the room.

"Am I good, or do I need to change anything out?" Lucifer asked Alex, who just stared dumbfounded at the woman before looking at the separate pieces of the uniform. He didn't think anyone could make the tie attractive, but this woman managed. Oh, but now he was curious as to just how she looked without it.

"It's good, but try taking off the tie and undoing the first button," Alex suggested, looking forward to this.

Lucifer did as he asked, pulling the tie out of the knot, looking very sexy as she did so. She also undid the button as requested, and Alex about fainted. Goddamn did she look fine.

Alex shook those thoughts out of his head, reminding himself that she has a date and that he's just being creepy. After getting his thoughts under control, he looked back at Lucifer, who stood tall in the center of the room, waiting to be instructed. "Yeah, that's good. Nobody ever wears the tie, so you're okay. Oh! Here," he said, handing Lucifer a little waist apron thing with an order book pad thing, a pen, and the little book thing that the receipt and card go into at the end. She tied it around her waist, and it was almost too much for him to take.

Just then, a customer walked in, and Alex took it as an opportunity. "Okay, training starts now. Go take her order."

Lucifer looked a little nervous but went up to the lady anyway, starting her first day at her first official job.

{'Bout 1,400, but still pretty good. Um yeah. I'm tired, but I actually have shit to do. Kill me. Please.
