Morning came faster then I would have liked considering I slept a grand total of 4 hours last night but the life of a mother with 2 toddlers starts at 7 am.
Rubbing the sleep out of my eyes I made my way over to the bathroom and took a quick rinse off with my favorite vanilla scented body wash before making my way over to the walk in closet that I had yet to explore. Rummaging around I decided on some black skinny jeans paired with a navy blue sweater and some black slip on vans.
I really appreciate that everything fit perfectly despite how creepy it actually was I had to respect the attention to details.
Last thing I needed to do was brush and floss my teeth. Then I would wake up the twins and dress them for breakfast where they would find out the Pretty Vampire Man was actually their father.
I think the lack of sleep was actually mellowing me out because I honestly wasn't as freaked out about the twins properly meeting their father as I was yesterday. Hopefully I stayed not losing my shit.
Letting out a puff of air I did one last look over in the mirror before making my way over to the twins drawers to pick them an outfit for today. Dressing the twins in matching outfits brought me great joy because I mean come on their twins. Its totally adorable.
So I picked them out matching green and white stripped white tops, khaki shorts, and green converse. I couldn't help but smile at my job well done in finding them matching clothes.
Knowing better then to wake up Sam alone I went to Ben shaking him slightly.
"Get up Benny its time to get ready"
Opening his eyes he sat up in his bed looking over at his sister sleeping. Not saying anything he made his way over to her.
Gently shaking her he whispered "Get up Sammy"
Shrugging him off and throwing the blanket over her head she mumbled "I'm asleep leave me alone."
Looking over at me I gave him a nob telling him to go to plan b.
Placing a small frown on his face Ben said "Oh who will eat all this yummy candy with me? I couldn't possibly finish it all by myself."
Sam sat up in bed and shouted "I CAN HELP YOU BENNY!"
Causing me and Ben to burst into laughter and the shear number of times she has fallen for this same act.
Once both the twins had their clothes on I decided to lay the news on them know so they wouldn't be totally confused. Kneeling down in front of both the twins they both gave me a quizzical look. Grabbing each of the hands into mine I prepared to unleash hell.
"You know how you guys always ask where daddy is?"
Ben and same looked to each other "Yeah and you always say daddy is too busy to play with us."
Giving them a sad smile I say "Well babies daddy has a day off today and wants to met you two."
Sam was obviously excited and she started to do a little hop shouting "WE'RE GONNA MET DADDY!"
Ben didn't let his happiness show as he just crossed his arms replying a simple "Cool."
I knew my Ben was more excited then he was letting on.
"Yup we are going to be having breakfast with him so hurry your butts to the dinning room."
Sam practically ran out the door with Ben hot on her tail.
Shaking my head I made my way after them prepared for the millions of questions me and Vlad were about to be bombarded with.
Making my way closer I heard the twins screaming incoherent words which was followed by a thump and groan of pain.
Were they really all that excited that Vlad was their father I though as I fastened my pace to see what all the commotion was about.
Upon entering the room I see the twins dog pilled onto a body and a bush of brown hair?
Vlad's a blonde....
His face was covered by the twins faces as they grinned at each other in pure joy while they held on tight to him.
Making my way closer I pry the twins off this man confused as to what the actual fudge was going on.
DANIEL?!?!
Realizing what just happened I felt a sickening feeling in my stomach. They thought Daniel was their father and they were absolutly ecstatic thinking this was true.
Then enters a confused Vlad.
Seeing me holding a twin in each hand and a pained Daniel on the floor.
Which was the perfect moment for Sam to shout "I MISSED YOU DADDY DANIEL!" As she escaped my grasp throwing herself on top of Daniel.
Well fuck me.
