Chapter 3

I finally saw the front door of my house.  I could feel the energy of two people only; my mom and dad. Jared, my brother is probably still at school with Gabriel. It feels weird to even say his name now that I learned who he really is. I don't even know what the hell is going on in my life. Until this morning I was just an ugly, fat girl and now I'm fat, ugly and apparently very very powerful (according to my soul). It feels weird to call her my soul and not my wolf.

"Soon..." I heard her whisper in my mind.

"What is it that you're not telling me?" I asked for the hundredth time.

"Like I said Leia soon. Calm down a little bit." she chuckled at me. Great now I'm an entertainment for my 'soul' too.

I don't know how my mom will react but I don't have clothes with me so I have get in from the back door and go to my room like a thief. God! Why am I not normal? Oh wait that's the wrong question since I'm a werewolf, nothing can be normal about me.

"Get inside already!" Aria half yelled at me.

"Okay you grumpy. I'm going in."

I walked silently and pushed past the garden door. Thank God mom left the back door open so I didn't have to make acrobatics to make mom notice that it is only me or change in front of her and be completely naked for the whole world to see. I walked inside the kitchen and was hoping to go to my room so I could dress without anyone seeing me and then ask mom about all the things that I have to know. But nooo, fate has a VERY big sense of humor let me tell you that because just as I was about to climb the stairs, dad walked out of the living room and double took my form.

I was standing still not to get hurt by him and vice versa. But when he saw me his eyes widened and yelled at mom.

"Evelyn!!" when mom came in to ask what was going on she saw me but unlike dad she didn't look surprised but she looked sad and anxious. I was trying hard not to run away screaming bananas, which now that I think about it how crazy would I look in my wolf form screaming lol. I thought mom and dad would scream murder or attack me, well not because I was an unknown werewolf to them because they are the beta couple obviously, but because I was a white wolf.

But none of that happened. Instead mom looked down for a minute and then at me and she said incredibly calmly.

"Go get some clothes on and then come to the living room."

I was shocked to say the least. I didn't even know how she recognized me well maybe because they are my parents. This is making me so nervous, the idea of finding out important things about me that I don't even have a clue about. I have never been this nervous in my life since my spelling competition at the 6th grade. Well I was nervous back then because my pack was going to be there. But in the end everyone clapped me except Bridget and her minions who booed me off the stage. Let's just say that night I lost all my body weight crying.

I went to my room and shifted. It was easy for me unlike what is said about the pain that you go through every time you shift until your body gets used to it. But I didn't feel any pain when I shifted just now. I mean yeah I felt that excruciating pain when I first shifted but turning back to my human form was so easy.

"This is only for us. The others feel that pain until they are used to it but of course you'll learn why in a few minutes." said Aria expectantly.

I sighed and walked inside my walk in closet. I took a pair of sweats and sweater before walking out. I took a cold shower to calm my mind and changed into a pair of underwear and put my clothes on before walking out of my room and went to the living room to see my parents talking quietly. When they noticed me, mom looked at me with teary eyes.
