Chapter 5

We have fights with our parents. Sometimes we just want to go away and never come back but just a little bit of departure from them makes us miss them. This is how I feel right now. I miss my parents but the reason for my departure was not because I had a fight with them but because I'm on my way to my real home.

We are currently inside of a plane. Yes, William said he would teleport us out but apparently he can't teleport to long distances unless he trains a little more. That's why we are going home with a luxuries private plane which belongs to the royal family.

We haven't talked for over 2 hours. The reason of it was because I don't have any idea what to talk about and it seems William thinks the same. But this silence was going to kill me so I decided to say something.

"What will I say when I see them?" I whispered but I knew he could hear me.

"You won't have to say anything. We've been watching you for 10 years Leia. Mom and dad never stopped looking after you." he looked at me with sympathy.

"Why did you leave me behind?" this time my voice broke.

He looked torn. I knew he was blaming himself for it, don't ask me why, I just can feel it and I have no freaking clue why.

"Because he is you brother, your family." said Aria, finally speaking for the first time since I woke up at the pack house.

"I remember the accident vividly because I've been dreaming it for ten years. I remember that we were on a road trip because you wanted it so bad. Formalities always bored you at the palace. Dad left uncle Jedikiah, Jed for short, in charge of the castle. We were on our way to camp and you and I were at the back laughing at the song on the radio when a car started coming towards us.

The car wasn't slowing, like it was coming towards us at that speed deliberately. Mom and dad were too shocked to react and we flew to the lake. Your seat belt wasn't on because you wanted to lay down and sleep on my leg. I never thought it could happen but you flew out the window so dad couldn't teleport you because you were already floating away.

For one second he swam to the surface, he said something but I couldn't hear and then we were gone. We never stopped loving or caring for you Leia. I slept in your room for a week in case you would come back. But you never did.

Then a week later dad found out that you were at the pack where we had the accident and went to your pack to take you back but they found out that you lost your memory. They made a deal with your family in there. When you shifted one more time, they were going to come back and take you until then you had to stay there and observe other creatures, live with them, be like them.

Because you are the chosen one, mom and dad wanted to make sure that when the time comes you will make the right decision. You have no idea how much they've missed you Leia. Every time mom and dad wakes up or goes to sleep you are their first and last thought and of course mine."

This was a lot to take in. One day ago I was the weakling of the pack and an abomination of my race and now I'm on my way to the castle  because I was their princess.

"My prince and princess, we are now landing so please put on your seatbelts." I heard the voice of the pilot and woke up.

I must have been sleeping for a long time because before I fell asleep, William said that we still had 5 hours of flight. I was so excited to meet them but what really bothered me was that I didn't know what to tell them when I meet them for the first time.
