Chapter 4

Voices inside my head were screaming. Stopping me from thinking or even talking. The things I've learned, the lies I've been told and the truth that just now came out were unbearable. I don't know who I am or what I am for that matter. I was standing there frozen for I don't know how long while my parents were looking at me.

Then I remembered my dream. So that was what all that was about. I was still trying to process my father's words when mom sat next to me and took my hands in hers:

"I know it's hard to take in. We're sorry that we didn't tell you all this before." she whispered with a broken voice.

"Who am I? Am I an abomination?" I asked finally coming to my senses and crying silently

I looked at mom while asking the question but she was staring at me like I've grown another head.

"An abomination?! Leia how can you think like that?" she yelled

"You said I shifted when I was 5 years old. Is it normal? If this is true then I'm the youngest shifter in the world. What does that make me?" this time I yelled. But obviously mom wasn't finished with her story.

"Listen to me now. Very carefully because this has already effected your life. As for your questions; Leia you are the most powerful, kindest and the most beautiful person in this world. Do you remember the stories I've told you when you were little about fallen angels and Nephilim?"

"Of course I do." I really did remember them. Apparently all the supernatural creatures are coming from the fallen angels. Before you say, 'Then why don't werewolves or vampires have wings?' well because they evolved and adapted to their surroundings but mom told me that only the royal family is coming directly from the Watchers, the original fallen angels and have no bloodline with the other creatures. Some of the watchers decided that they didn't want their mates to be from the human race but from the royal blood but only a few accepted this because if they got together with their own kind then their race wasn't going to flourish because angels weren't meant to be with each other but something happened and 4 of the watchers got pregnant from their chosen partners which was unheard of.

Eventually watchers said that these children were going to be the leaders of the next generations and made sure that they never mated with each other or with a human. Basically they would be the gods and goddesses on earth. They thought these children would rule different species who were the children of the Nephilim, who are the offsprings of watchers who mated with humans. They were Moonwalkers, Vampires, Witches and shapeshifters but one day 2 of the original watcher's children, Avian and Zurial who were the leaders of the moonwalker clan and the leader of the witch covens met and they fell in love with each other. No matter how impossible it was, they never broke apart and made a family together. When other 2 children were killed because of their greediness, Avian and Zurial were the only ones who could rule the species.

When it was time for them to leave their throne to their child and step aside, the new ruler emerged. Ever since then the royal family stayed as the most powerful souls on earth.

No matter how powerful they were, they couldn't stop the war between the light's and dark's forces. The darkness didn't want the pure ones to rule them because this created outcasts and started a war. A war that can never be won but must always be fought. The war was being continued for over a thousand years when the original watchers came out of living in secret  and created a prophecy.

An heir shall come to forward

Let her emerge from the undead

She shall end this war of blood and corruption
