Chapter 4-Lucy's POV- Breakfast with Trouble

Once Natsu and I reached the guild, with him beating me because he had some help from Happy, it was boisterous as ever. We sat at our normal table and a few minutes later, Mira came to get our order. I have never had a normal breakfast before so I asked Natsu what would be good, which he responded with a resounding answer of pancakes. Mira simply smiled and walked away and after about 10 minutes, she brought us each a  large stack of golden-brown pancakes. I was about to take my first bite when the doors of the guild hall burst open and around 20 men in white and blue robes marched inside.

“Natsu Dragneel, you are under arrest for destroying half the town of Hargeon. Come with us willingly or we will use force.” Shouted the commander who had black short hair and glasses.

 I knew Natsu told me that Fairy Tail gets into a lot of trouble but I couldn’t believe that one person could destroy half a town.

“Natsu, what did you do? Isn’t Hargeon the town where we met? “ I whispered angrily to Natsu.

“Well you see when I heard that Bora calling himself ‘Salamander of Fairy Tail’ I kind of  lost it. You see my adopted dad Igneel gave me the nickname of Salamander so when I heard about Bora I knew I had to teach him a lesson. I happened to notice that he was kidnapping other girls like you. I guess I got carried away.” Natsu whispered back and laughed while scratching his head.

“I guess you did! Well since you helped me, I will help you.” I said as I began to think of a plan to help Natsu.

I led him to a closet where I summoned Gemini, who transformed into Natsu and distracted the guards as Natsu and I ran outside the back door. I know it was wrong to run but I knew that Natsu would be arrested and I couldn’t have them take away one of my closest friends. We ran to the train station where I did not notice at the time, that there were about four or five guards waiting for him. They grabbed Natsu by the shoulder and threw him down to the ground as they put magic-resisting hand cuffs on him.

Another guard grabbed me by my wrist and slyly states, “Oh and who is this pretty little thing? Your accomplice perhaps? What’s your name doll?”

I froze when Natsu shouted, “Get your hands off her or I’ll turn you to ashes!” The guard simply laughed at him until one of his superiors came up to him.

He took one look at me and said the words that I dreaded to hear after I ran away from home. “I know that girl! She is the princess of Fiore, Lucy Heartfilia!”
