Chapter 13-Gray's POV- the Lady of the Water

I recognized my opponent at once as that Juvia woman I had met before. Finally I got my chance for a rematch that I wanted. I walked from the doorway to the middle of the room.

She seemed to have noticed me because I soon heard her bellow. “Oh its you! You should know that this time Juvia will not hold back!”

“As I recall it was you who pulled out of the battle before we even started.” I replied.

“Well it doesn’t matter because Juvia will defeat you now!” She yelled as she became poised to attack.

“Bring it on! You may be a girl but I am not holding back either. I will not lose to an opponent that I faced twice.” I said as I was getting ready to attack.

“Water Slicer” she shouted as two water blade like streams headed towards me.

“ Ice Make Shield” I yelled as I created a shield around me which blocked her attack.

“Ice Make Arrow!” I screamed as a bow and arrow appeared in my hands. I pulled back on the string and sent the arrow flying towards her. I thought it was about to hit her but then I noticed the arrow sailed through her body.

“Juvia is made of water, you cannot hurt me!” she declared. This was ridiculous. How am I suppose to defeat someone who was made out of water?

 It was then that it all clicked. Since I was an ice wizard and since she was made out of water, I could simply freeze her, except I needed to get close to her. I decided on how to act after a few minutes.

“Ice Make Twin Blades” I yelled as two swords appeared in my hands. I charged her as she was poised to attack yet again. I jumped behind her and when she was distracted, I thrust one of my swords into her side, which froze her side.

“How dare you! Now you have unleashed Juvia’s wrath!” She screamed as the temperature of her water attacks rose.

I tried to stop the water with another shield but it was too hot. The only attack that I could use was “Ice Geyser!” I yelled as I placed my hand on the ground, sending ice sky high, trapping Juvia in an ice crystal.

 There she stayed frozen for a couple of seconds until the ice broke and she began to fall. Tears streamed from her eyes as if she was a rain drop falling to earth. I don’t know why but I caught her in my arms before she hit the ground. When she knew she was safe, she opened her  deep blue eyes. They were the color of the ocean on a clear day.

“W..who are you?” she stammered.

“You don’t remember anything that just happened?” I asked her. Could it be that she didn’t know what she was doing?

“ No. All I remember is my guildmate Gajeel and I being brought to the magical advisor Hades and the next thing I know it, I am in your arms. Who are you? Are you my prince charming?” She explained as she began to sit up.

“Uh no. My name is Gray from the guild Fairy Tail. I don’t want to fight you, but I want to be your friend.” I explained as we both smiled at each other.

"I would like that very much!" She said as she looked at me with that beautiful smile still on her face. 

For some reason, I feel calm around her, but I will not admit it because that flame for brains Natsu will make fun of me. I think Juvia is a good person who was just led down a bad path. I hope one day she can quit Phantom Lord and join Fairy Tail to be a better wizard.
