In My Way (Sweeran Fanfiction)

Quarter past 7

Ed's POV

I stood in front of the mirror. I had actually decided to dress a little bit more fancy tonight than I usually would. After all I wanted to make a good impression on Taylor. Slowly I walked to the door of my apartment,  grabbing my car keys and the flowers that sat on top of the dresser.

Making my way to the car I unlocked it and slid into the drivers seat. The drive over to Taylors house was silent,  I hadn't bothered to turn on the radio but I should of it would have helped with the nerves that were tying a not in my stomach.

Taylors POV

I heard a car pull up outside,  I knew it was Eds imedeatly. Spinning one last tim in the mirror I grab my jacket from the hook by the door and slip my lhone in my pocket. Swinging open the front door I run down the front steps and throw my arms around a bewildered looking Ed.

"I missed you" I mummer into his shoulder,  he was wearing a suit which came as a surprise to me. I don't think I had ever seen Ed in a suit. Ed lets out a nervous chuckle and pulls away. I was the same height as Ed when I wasn't wearing heels. Smiling I took a step in closing the gap,  Ed took another step back but he couldn't go any further as I heard his back hit the car.

Eds POV

I knew that Taylor was going to kiss me, but for some reason I was wanting just a little more than a quick kiss. My back was pressed up against the car window exactly where I wanted Taylor's back to be. In one swift movement I had grabbed Taylor's body and spun us around so that her back was now pressed against the car. Putting my arms on either side of her face I lent in and my lips found hers. I felt Taylor's hands wrap around my neck,  so shifted my hands to her hips. As I deepend the kiss I felt Taylor squirming under me. I pulled away short of breath, Taylors face was flushed and she was breathing heavily.

"I could do that all night" Taylor jokes a smile appearing on her face.

"I could to and I would love to, but we have a date to get to and its all ready 7:15" I say grinning as I take Taylor's hamd and lead her around to the passenger door.

"Maybe after the date then" Taylor says with a smirk as she steps into the car.

"Make that maybe a definite" I say leaning across the car and pecking her on the cheek.

"Done" Taylor breathes as I pull the car out of the driveway and onto the street. I see Taylor's hand reach for the stereo and suddenly the car was filled with the most beautiful voice ever and Taylor's face was turning pink.

Do you remember we were sitting there by the water, you put your arm around me for the first time...
