Eds POV
"Taylor, love come on" I say tugging at the sleeve of her plaid shirt. She wasn't moving, she was a deer caught in the head lights, her face stricken.
The paps were having a field day and if Taylor didn't move I was pretty sure she was going to break down right in front of them. So with that thought in mind, I stopped tugging at her jacket and scooped her up into my arms and started running, away from the paps and away from the ice cream shop. Of course the paps were running after me but I didn't care. Taylor had burried her face in my shoulder and I could feel my jacket starting to get damp from her tears.
"Ed" I hear Taylor whisper "Put me down, please?" she sobbed quitley, but I didn't listen to her I just kept running, only stopping when I felt my feet hit sand. The paps gave up following me about a hundred meters back, but a few were still lingering around the top of the sand hill.
"Ed, please put me down now im hurting" shit I totally forgot about Taylors foot. Gently I set her down on a log next to the sea.
"Are you okay?" I ask whipping away the few strsy tears on her cheek with my thumb.
"Yeah" she breathes "Thanks for saving me back there" she doesnt look up at me so I sit down next to her.
"Im sorry I dropped your ice cream while I was running" Taylor just looks at me her face free of emotion, the salty wind blowing her hair back from her face.
Without thinking I pull her onto my lap and kiss her cheek.
"Your beautiful Tay" I whisper looking at her square on.
"Really, you think so?" Taylor responds her eyes big and innocent.
"No" I shake my head "I know so" her lips stretched into a huge smile, and her flushed cheeks turned an even darker shade of pink. It took everything in me not to just kiss her there and then.
"Ed?"Taylor asks her face becoming serious.
"Yeah love?" I say my face inches from her own.
"Kiss me" she whispers her voice cracking, nervousness spreading across her face. I smile the biggest smile I I could possibly smile and lean forward my lips meeting her soft pink ones.
Oooooh Sweeran is beginning.
