*Valkyrie's P.O.V.*
The next day in school I decided that I was going to grow some lady-balls and say hi to Skyler as part of my plan. I couldn't though. Natalie was clinging to him whenever she saw me near him as if she was scared he was gonna leave her. She tried to hide it behind evil smirks and snide comments towards me.
Why am I so pathetic? I can't even say hi to the guy I like. Maybe that's why he doesn't know I'm alive. I really need to change that if I'm gonna get him to leave her for me. This is alot harder than I thought. It would be so much easier if he talked to me first. It would give me the confidence boost I need to actually have a conversation with the guy. Maybe Vi could talk to him first? I'll talk to her about it at lunch.

At lunch I find an empty table and anxiously wait for Violet to show up so I can tell her about my pathetic plan to have her talk to him first.
She shows up about five minutes later with a huge plate of food.
"Hey. So I thought of a way to kick off our revenge." I said with excitement.
"What is it?" She said through her full mouth.
"You are gonna start talking to him and sooner or later I will just drift into the conversation. This way it doesn't look suspicious that I suddenly started talking to him when he starts dating queen bitch. Great idea right?"
She gives me a dry look. "I am not gonna help you in your pathetic plan if it involves me doing all the work. Even if I did help you, when are you two ever gonna have the chance to talk alone? I can't be there all the time. And on top of that, it will probably be awkward between you two if you had a conversation and I wasn't there to make sure you didn't sound or look dumb."
I think about it for a minute and realize she's right. I can't be a little bitch about this. I have to do it myself if I want this to work.
i look up and see him walking by and say "Hey Skyler." to him.
He turns to look at me and smiles and waves. "Hey Valkyrie."
Then he walks and sits down at the popular table not that far away from where me and Vi are sitting right now.
She looks proud when I look back at her. "That, my dear friend, is how it starts. The next step, however, is to actually have a conversation with him. Shouldn't be to hard right?"
I look at her as if she's crazy. "Yes it would be to hard. I barely just said hi. I can't have a full conversation yet. He has to get used to me talking him first....and did he just say my name? I didn't know he knew my name. Oh My God he knows my name!!!!! Maybe he does know that I exist."
She looks at me weird. "You think it's that important that he knows your name? He's pretty popular. I'm pretty sure he knows everyone's name."
My face falls. I did think it was that important but apparently Vi doesn't feel the same.
"Sorry to burst your bubble Val but I really don't think it means that much." She said.
"Fine.....maybe your right. I think I just over reacted because he didn't completely ignore me..." I say, kinda sad.
"Yeah. That's probably it." Vi finishes her lunch just as the bell rings for 6th period. We say bye and head off in opposite directions to our respective classrooms.
