Ercit was able to find time to introduce me to Hannis during her little freak out session of how Servdon could be executed if their king, Atlas is his name apparently, found him. It was funny because after Ercit said "Hannis, this is Eliese." all I got from Hannis at the time was just a quick hello.

Two extra plates were set up at the table and Hannis brought over some chairs. "Oh, Hannis," Ercit says to her daughter, "why not let miss Eliese here borrow some of your clothes. I'm sure she wouldn't mind plus it will help her fit in a fit more even though she doesn't have the ears." Wow, thanks Ercit.

"I'm fine with what I'm wearing right now." I assure her even though I'm still in my tank top and plaid pajama bottoms. Quite the interesting combination if you ask me.

"Oh Eliese if my mother offers something she won't stop until the other receives her offer. So come on let's find something that fits you." She takes my arm and leads me upstairs.

"Oh, and you can just call me Ellie. No one really calls me Eliese." I remind her. I guess people here forgot that I like Ellie more than Eliese.

"Well I'm still going to call you Eliese." Well that settles that if I don't want to argue about it.

"Alright, Hannis." I put my hands up in surrender as she hands me a maroon colored dress that looked like it goes to the bend of my knees. "Okay I think I might own a dress like this." I say examining the dress.

Hannis just chuckles and pushes me down into a chair. "Oh, sweetie, this dress is designed to make you seem like you are one of us. Even though you don't have the marks as a faerie, this dress will cover your back where the major marks are suppose to be." She begins to play around with my hair. "You see, all faeries have marks on the back of their right shoulders to signify that they are truly fae. Then on the back of their left shoulder is the clan they belong to. Everyone is the same except for the royal faes. If a fae is royal blood, they have a mark engraved all the way down their spine. If a fae marries into the royal family, then at the coronation ceremony, they will be marked with half of the royal engravings down to the middle of their backs. There's also some other special marks to signify powers and such, but that's something I have no clue about."

I was listening so intently to what the marks are that I didn't realize that what Hannis was doing with my hair was doing it in some special way. "Alright, this hairstyle should cover your ears in the events that someone were to come visit. I'm only doing this in the case of an emergency, Eliese."

I look at myself in the mirror and see that my hair was now framing my face, covering the entirety of my ears. The dress that Hannis lent me was low scooping in the front but I can feel the fabric covering my back almost perfectly. "Thanks." I say to her getting out of the chair, and of course I'm forgetting that I'm still barefoot.

Wait, I really walked through the forest behind the church next to my school, and all throughout the fire clan without any shoes and I didn't feel any pain.

Oh my god, my dreams of becoming a hobbit are coming true! Except the only thing that is coming true about them is the barefoot...ness part about hobbits.

"Come on." Hannis takes a hold of my hand. "It's time for dinner." She takes me downstairs and into the dining room of the house.

The table was already set up and there were two empty chairs already there. Hannis takes the seat next to Ercit, leaving me with the chair by Servdon.

"So mom, my guess is Adria isn't coming?" Servdon asks as he was taking whatever green leafy thing was in a bowl. I hope it's salad even though I am a carnivore more than an herbivore. Okay I'm still an omnivore.

"Oh, he's coming. He's coming after dinner since his parents don't know that you are back." Ercit answers.

They were talking about other things at the moment, I guess it was something involving the fact that I can see them and trying to get me to this palace in some area. But so far no one has told me much about this realm.

More so if I'm still in some similar area to the United States.

"Uhm, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'm still a confused asshole trying to figure out what even this country is." I say slightly raising my hand, which silenced everyone in the room.

Servdon got up and went upstairs. He didn't come down for a while until he did return with a rolled up piece of paper. "This is the map to the realm. I wouldn't open it now because it's dinner time, but afterwards I can show you the different clans of the realm." He said to me with the corners of his lips quirking up a bit.

I return the smile and set the map next to the spoon.

Then there was a knock on the door. Everyone's heads snapped up at the door, terrified looks in their eyes.

"Guys! Open up! Hurry!" A male voice was heard now frantically knocking on the door. "They're behind me!"

"My gods!" Hannis ran up out of her seat and opened the door, pulling in the male outside, closing the door and locking it up quickly. "Adria, what the hell?!"

The chocolate skinned male took in a couple of deep breaths and spoke finally.

"I'm so sorry! I was on my way to see you guys, but one of the royal guards stopped me asking for information about Servdon and I just said 'I haven't heard from my boyfriend since his exile not like I could contact him in the mortal world'!"

Oh. So this Adria that everyone was talking about that I had no clue about was Servdon's boyfriend.

Wait, did he say royal guards?

"So what did you do?" Ercit asks in a bit of a panic.

"I ran as fast as I can. But they were on my tail the entire time until I lost them. I am still weary that I think they might've found me."

Now everyone is scared. Minus me.

"But how could—"

The sentence was never finished as the door broke open and men in official looking uniforms barged into the house.

Ercit, Hannis, and Adria were pushed into a corner while Servdon was pushed to the ground and his hands were blinded behind his back.

I was just left untouched.

Everyone was yelling until what I believe is the head guard yelled "SILENCE!" That is what shut everyone up. "Servdon Vewusa, former caretaker to Atlas, King of All of the Realms. You were sentenced to exile under direct orders from his majesty, yet you choose to return." His voice was sounding stern, almost sounding like the vice principal slash football coach at my school when there's a bad call on the field. "You know your punishment for returning is immediate death, put into effect now."

Ercit screamed at the guards to have mercy on her son.

Hannis was crying.

Adria, whom I still have yet to introduce myself to, is crying and saying what I think is a prayer.

That is when Servdon eyes me. It looks like he's saying..."Do something quick."

That was when I finally spoke up.

"STOP!"

The guard who had a sword in his hand who looked like he was about to cut off Servdon's head—some serious Alice in Wonderland shit going on there—saw me. His sword still in its raised position.

"Well? What are you doing?!" The head guard shouts at the guard looking at me. "Cut his head off!"

"General...there's a mortal." The guard points over at me, causing all of the other guards and the general to look at me, their eyes looking like they are about to pop out of their heads.

Great all eyes are on me now I feel like that Britney Spears song Circus.
