I am seriously wishing that I had my phone with me right now so I can text my friends that I am alive but am in a crazy world.
But of course my phone is somewhere but not with me. So I can't really play any games or check Facebook and such.
I don't bother with going to the dining room for lunch, so Rosamie, who surprisingly has the key to my room, brought me a sandwich. She gave me a look when I asked her if she can make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but she tried her hardest and it tasted pretty similar to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It almost tastes like the ones mom used to make me for school lunches. Then I cried and explained to Rosamie why I was crying. She totally understood why.
When Rosamie leaves my room, I go to take off the dress and slip on the nightgown just to take a quick nap. I needed one even though it feels like three in the afternoon.
Then just like that Nine in the Afternoon get stuck in my head. Thanks, Panic! At the Disco.

"Been working so hard. I'm punching my card..." I sing in the backseat of the car while Josh is drumming a small beat that reminded me of Footloose.
We were just waiting for my mom so Josh and I can go to our volunteer opportunity of helping out children with disabilities play baseball. Josh was the one that got me involved because he needed some volunteer hours. I just wanted to help out.
"Alright let's get going." Mom says getting into the driver's seat. It was just after our little jam out session finished.
"Mom! You missed a jam out session to Footloose!" I tell her. Just my fifteen year old curious self being just that.
But that's how it was. Curious me, annoying Josh, gentle mom, and goofball dad.

"Ellie!" Rosamie shakes me awake until I finally decide to open my eyes. "Thank gods you're alive! You slept through dinner."
Fabulous. I sleep through the one meal I was hoping I would not see Atlas during. Wait, I didn't have to worry about his fucking annoying antics! Holy crap, this nap was the best thing that has happened to me!
"Did I miss anything else?" I ask hiding the fact that I feel good I missed dinner.
"Yes. Atlas was going to give you a letter that the messenger of the Fire Clan had for you from the former caretaker." I sit up on my bed. Servdon responded to my letter. Just as I was about to ask where the letter was, Rosamie hands me an envelope with my name on it. "His majesty requested that I give this to you since your presence wasn't apprehended for during dinner."
I didn't care about what Atlas said, I just snatch the letter out of Rosamie's hand and open up the letter:
Dearest Ellie,
It is good to see that you are alive, but I cannot understand why Atlas would force you to live at the castle when you are a mortal. I wish I was there to help you, but I unfortunately can't unless I want to be beheaded like I almost was back at home. I deeply apologize. But if you want help, I highly do suggest talking to Willa. I'm glad she was able to get you permission to write to me. I always liked her during my time there.
I followed your word and went to a Cleveland Browns game. They lost against this one team, and I can see why you would call them the laughing stock of Cleveland. The Dairy Treat was closed for the season so I just stopped by this one place called Mitchell's which looked like it had similar things that Dairy Treat might have. I took what they call vanilla flavor and that was really good!
I hope to hear from you again. If you ever want to see your brother or friends, I can tell you this: there is this little lake thing in the middle of the forest close by the castle. It's called the Pond of Want. Just put your hand in it and it will show you someone who you really want to see. That's all I can say. I have to go.
Yours truly,
Servdon
