i was shocked when chenle was waiting outside the gate for me and renjun.

"tae seol come on! the winners will be posted later!"

"okay okay! chill!"

chenle pulled me, leaving renjun behind. oh well *shrug*

we arrived at the classroom and there was still 5 minutes till class starts.

"jeez chenle, why are you so excited?"

"because i love our project and i want to win, duh!"

i rolled my eyes at him.

renjun went inside the classroom and sat behind chenle.

later on, mr ukio arrived and had a big smile plastered across his face.

"so as you all remembered, im gonna announce the winners today"

"all of you drew very well! im impressed! but theres one project that touched my heart. i know it sounds cheesy but its true,"

"their drawing didnt only focus on christmas alone nor gifts or whatever. they showed what christmas is truly about,"

"its about having to spend with your family or the person you love even though theyre not here already, they will always stay in our hearts.. so shall i announce now the winners?"

"so for the 3rd place, hyunjoon and haknyeon! congrats boys! plus 75 points"

the both of them high-fived.

"second place goes to.. renjun and jeno! plus 80 points!"

jeno tried to high-five renjun but we all know renjun, he wont do that. so instead, jeno patted renjun's back.

"and for the first placers who really made me emotional just because of their drawing.. 100 points goes to.. chenle and tae seol!"

"WOOH!"

chenle shouted and fist punching the air triumphantly.

"so i will show all of you their drawing"

then mr ukio showed the whole class our project.

"as you can see their project, its a drawing of a boy beside a christmas tree, holding a present alone but i think you noticed the light blue stuffs behind him that stands for the people we love but arent with us anymore.."

"it just shows the true meaning of christmas and thats why chenle and tae seol won"
