"wow i didnt even expected that chenle would win"

donghyuck, chenle and renjun's friend said.

"shut up donghyuck youre just jealous"

donghyuck rolled his eyes at chenle's immature response.

i looked at the clock and it was already 6 pm

i decided to stay at my grandparents' house for the night since i missed them.

i already told renjun about it and he just agreed.

"renjun, i have to go now"

"oh.. okay"

he carried my stuffs until i reached outside of the pension house and we saw mrs yoon there.

"oh where are you kids going?"

"im going to walk her until outside the building since she's staying over her grandparents' house"

"oh, take care tae seol!"

"thank you mrs yoon, you too!"

we reached the bus stop and we stayed there for a while.

"hey, you know, you can leave already, im okay here"

"nope im not leaving you alone here"

we stayed silent as i dont know what to say next. uh.. this is kinda awkward but its also comfortable. i cant explain.

"hey you never told me anything about your family"

renjun started talking.

"oh.. you wanna know?"

"if its fine with you.."

"yeah sure"

i breathed deeply as i started telling him my story.

"i.. have one brother, the one that came to our unit. his name is ahn hyungseob.."

"we.. we lost our parents when we were still 8.."

i felt myself tearing up so i looked up so it would go away.

"hey.. its fine, you dont have to continue"

renjun patted my back but i somehow want to share my story to him.

"they died on a car accident, you know whats worse? it was christmas that time"

i cant help but let my tear fall followed by another and another and another.

"me and my brother survived but our parents didnt.."

"i was only 8 that time plus add the fact that it was just me and my brother trying to survive by ourselves"

"you may be wondering why i love christmas the most and my parents died that day.."

"its because it reminds me of them.. all our memories.. doesnt make me sad, it makes me happy. im happy because i felt their love and care for 8 years.."

"it hurts.. i miss them so much.."

i cried my heart out and i never ever cried this much before.

renjun wrapped me in a hug and he kept patting my back.

he didnt talk though. he just stayed continued patting my back but i still didnt stop crying.

thats when i heard him hum something.

his voice made me calm down and i somehow stopped crying.

i decided to let renjun go since the bus already arrived.

"uhm, i guess i'll go now"

"can i go with you there?"

"no, no, you have to rest"

"but i wanna go with you.."

"renjun, im fine, i'll take care of myself"

"fine. just text me always and call me too"

"i'll only stay there for one night though.."

"still! call and text, okay? take care, bye"

i waved back at him and i smiled at him warmly as i put my bag inside.

+ omg im so sorry i didnt update yesterday. ive been really busy. this was supposed to be the chapter for yesterday but i just posted it now. i'll post the chapter for today, tomorrow! i'll try! always keep safe! i still have to take the entrance exam for my new school, wish me luck!~
