There comes a time in a girls life when it's only you and the one you love so dearly.
The world stops turning and your heartbeat quickens.
The feeling of love becomes undeniable and the look upon the others face mesmerizes you.
The moment your lips touches his is the moment you realize all your pain, all your memories, all your hurt seems to fade away.
It seems to not be so important anymore.
The only thing that could make this moment better is if- well nothing could make it better.
Nothing can compare to the feeling of him against you, his lips against yours, his breathing slowing as he lies you down and kisses you passionately like the world would end if he pulled away.
And when the moment comes that you need air in your lungs, he pulls away and you still can't find a way to breathe. What just took place; you can't recover from that because truthfully, you've waited for that to happen your whole life.
You've waited to feel loved, to feel cared for, to feel like your the only girl in this world.
He makes you feel like that. He makes you feel special.
Because you are.
Carly and Daniel both leaned in and their lips connected.
Neither had ever felt so good, felt so amazed at the touch of another person.
When the time came for them to pull away, they were both so so in love but upset at the loss of contact.
So after catching their breath, Daniel leaned back in and kissed Carly passionately.
It was as if they had kissed a million times before, except this time was the most special.
They knew what they were doing.
They both knew what they were risking by falling in love.
But if you asked them then and if you asked them today, they would tell you that they didn't care.
All they cared about was each other and what they felt in that moment of their first kiss.
When Daniel pulled away a second time, Carly sighed and leaned her forehead against his.
"I'm so in love with you," she whispered, breathlessly.
He felt a small smile on his lips as he whispered into her ear, "I'll forever be in love with you."
He pulled away slightly looking at her sad expression.
"Car, what's wrong?"
She pondered for a moment before looking into his sea-blue eyes.
"They'll judge me. I'm not good enough for you. We can't let them know. I'm scared Daniel."
He felt his heart shatter as the words left her lips, "Carly, we'll be okay. I won't tell anyone if that's what you want. All that matters is me and you. You are perfect for me. If anything I don't deserve you," he replied sadly, pulling her into his lap.
Carly's thoughts wandered as she imagined the hate she'd receive. She had already received enough hate but never told Daniel, in fears of him getting upset.
She was afraid to let the truth slip out about her love for him, scared he wouldn't feel the same, or scared Jack or Mama would be upset.
Carly's thoughts were interrupted by Daniels lips on hers again and she realized then that there was nothing to be afraid of.
Daniel was with her and that was all that mattered.
That was all that would ever matter.
For the rest of their lives.
