"no!" tyler giggled, letting himself fall backwards on his bed. "we kissed!"

brendon and ryan were over for a sleepover, considering it was friday night and they had nothing better to do. brendon sat on tyler's pink beanbag and let his boyfriend collapse onto his lap.

"dun kissed you," ryan shook his head in disbelief. "honestly, i thought he didn't like you."

"me too!" tyler laughed, unable to contain his smiles. "i told you i could use mr. weekes to get him jealous."

"so you're done with mr. weekes now?" brendon questioned.

"uh, duh. i'm devoted to mr. dun."

"so do you get to call him josh or do you have to call him mr. dun?" ryan giggled, thinking he was so funny.

"i dunno! we aren't even like... official."

tyler's phone vibrated, so the boy glanced at the notification he'd received. he gasped and let out a high pitched squeal.

"oh my god!"

"what?"

"i'm going to cry!"

"why?!"

"mr. dun sent me a dm on instagram!"

"what's it say?!" ryan jumped off of brendon's lap and onto the bed next to his friend.

"hey ty, what's your number? xx"

"oh my gosh!" ryan squealed, bouncing up and down in excitement.

"what do i say?!" tyler was giggling like a schoolgirl, butterflies going crazy in his stomach. he was giddy with excitement, joy bubbling in his chest.

"just give him your number," brendon said nonchalantly. he moved himself to sit on the bed next to ryan, feathering his hands through the younger's hair.

"yeah, good idea."

the brunette quickly typed his phone number out, reading it over twice to make sure he didn't type a wrong number. he got a text immediately after.

tyler: hmm... obama?

unknown number: close

tyler: oh oh i know joe biden!

unknown number: closer

tyler: ohhh mr. dun

unknown number: you can call me josh 😛

tyler smiled at his phone, rolling over onto his stomach and kicking his feet in the air behind him.

"i call him josh," he announced, glancing over at his friends to find them making out. "ew! on my bed?! have some class!"

"you're too busy texting mr. dun," brendon grinned, wiggling his eyebrows in a teasing way.

"so what!" tyler laughed. "want me to put in a movie or something?"

tyler inserted the princess and the frog disc into his dvd player and started the movie for his friends to watch. all three sat on his bed, although tyler was too busy on his phone to pay attention.

josh 💖: wassup ty?

tyler 🌻: hanging with brendon and ryan

josh 💖: what're you guys doin? are you busy?

tyler 🌻: theyre watchin a movie but i can still text

josh 💖: you sure?

tyler 🌻: yeah it's just princess and the frog, not even my fave princess movie

josh 💖: what's your favorite?

tyler 🌻: hmm i like tangled, beauty and the beast, and frozen! 😅

josh 💖: awh you're too cute ❤️

"guys, he called me cute!" tyler blushed, letting his head fall to rest against brendon's shoulder.

"i've never seen you so happy," brendon chuckled, keeping his arms around ryan.

"i'm in love with him already."

tyler 🌻: nah whateva

josh 💖: you are!! are you busy tomorrow?

tyler 🌻: no why?

josh 💖: can i take you out? xx

tyler 🌻: of course! so does that mean we're a thing?

josh 💖: well i was going to officially ask you in person...

tyler 🌻: oh! forget i said that, just erase that message

josh 💖: okay lol but i can take you out?

tyler 🌻: yeah what time?

josh 💖: noon work for you?

tyler 🌻: yeah but do you know where to pick me up at?

josh 💖: no what's your address?

tyler 🌻: *insert address here*

josh 💖: i'll be there at noon ❤️

tyler 🌻: what should i wear?

josh 💖: anything you feel pretty in 😘

tyler 🌻: okay ☺️ i'll be ready

josh 💖: i'll let you go hang out with brendon and ryan now

tyler clutched his phone over his heart, a smile embedded into his cheeks. his heart was soaring, euphoria clouding all of his senses.

josh was taking him on a date tomorrow, and he'd never been more excited.
