Valadhiel opened her eyes and stretched a bit, then froze, blinked in surprise, and blushed. Somehow during the night, she'd ended up cuddling right into Legolas, her head beneath his chin, and his arms around her as they faced each other. She tried to move without waking him, but she again froze when he stirred.
Legolas stirred and, after a moment, opened his eyes. When he realized he was holding Valadhiel, his eyes widened and he let her go, sitting up. "Sorry..." He murmured quietly, blushing.
Valadhiel glanced away in embarrassment, then looked back at him. "No need to apologize..." She replied with a soft smile, her cheeks still rosy. She decided to change the subject. "What time is it?"
Legolas sat all the way up and got to his knees before he pulled one of the tent's flaps back. "I'd say it is about seven in the morning. Aragorn is no doubt up by now." He smiled a little to himself while his back was turned. It had felt pleasant to have her in his arms... he loved the feeling.
Valadhiel nodded. "No doubt. He'll be waking the others up at any minute." She responded. While his back was turned, she watched him. She wouldn't admit it out loud, but... she had liked that. Waking up in his arms. It felt right... she loved the feeling. He made her feel safe and... loved. But she was afraid to fall in love again. What if he died in this journey? She'd be heart broken all over again- though he was already a dear friend of hers. It would still hurt all the same... so... why not allow herself to fall for him?
She got to her knees after a moment. "I can go catch some fish for breakfast." She suggested. "Have it ready before they get up. The sooner we eat, the sooner we can leave."
Legolas looked back at her and nodded with a soft smile. He got to his feet and walked out of the tent, holding the flap open for her.
Valadhiel smiled at him and walked through. "Hannon le, Legolas." She said softly. Once she was outside, she stretched her wings out as she looked over at the sun, which made her wings sparkle.
"You're welcome, Vala." Legolas replied softly as he admired her. Her wings sparkled in the sunshine and her hair, which she was brushing out the best she could with her fingers, shimmered. She was so beautiful... like a strong yet fragile, angelic warrior.
Aragorn was nearby, watching them with a smile. He knew there was something there... those two definitely liked each other. He could tell since the first time he'd seen them together. After a moment of silently observing them as he smoked his pipe, he went to go wake the rest of the Fellowship up.

Valadhiel yawned a bit, once again in the same boat as Legolas and Gimli. She used her wings to help row again, and they all took occasional breaks to rest their aching arms- especially for the sake of the hobbits.
Valadhiel, during one break, rested in the sunshine in cheetah form, resting with her eyes closed. Her catnap was interrupted when she thought she heard or sensed something- or someone. It wasn't Gollum, nor was it anything dangerous. She wasn't sure what or who it was, but shrugged it off as she got up, yawned, and stretched.
Soon they were in the boats again. It was still morning, maybe about nine thirty by now. Aragorn tapped Frodo on the shoulder after a moment. "Frodo. The Argonath!" He said. "Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old. My kin."
