"VERY NICE!"
"But Scar we don't-"
"My dad and a person I can get as close to a dad died in front of my eyes."
I looked around the room that fell dead silent. Head hung low. Probably speechless.
"I want them dead. With or without your help."
I picked up my phone and keys, glance once over my friends and storm out of the house. I will avenge you Dad, Papa. I inserted the keys before kickstarting my motor. I turned my throttle making a loud noise before putting on my helmet and slam down my windshield. I took out my phone and sent a message to Joshua oppa.
I'm heading back, last flight tonight. -Lucky
I slid the phone into my back pocket before putting on my gloves and kick the kickstand before riding off into the cold night. My eyes were watery and my mind was still confused by many different thoughts and questions. What if all this while was just a way to get to me? Does he really love me? Wait. Does he even love me in the first place?
I was slapped back right into reality by the tiny little drips of rains that tapped on the outside of my helmet like a rhythm to a song. Shit. I immediately engaged the brakes when I find myself speeding downhill only to realize that the brakes no longer work. Someone had cut off the wires. Don't panic Scar. Don't panic. I tried slowing the bike by placing my legs on the road.
*SNAP*
"Shit. Those were some nice heels."
I look up once again and the straight road had turned into a curve that I could not possibly avoid. And I was riding straight for the edge.
I sighed, "Good job Scarlett ."
I take a deep breath before jumping off the bike at the last minute. But due to the speed, I was dragged off the edge of the cliff and held tightly to a hanging root for life. I kept my head high, begging myself to hold on and not look down.
"Man. That's a soul-crushing fall. Now what..."
I bite my lips and look up. Oh no... No no no... My gloves... In a matter of seconds, my grip started to loosened and I was slipping down...
"Jesus..."
I kept my eyes shut and did a final prayer under the stars.
"Amen."
My hands slide out of the gloves and I was left with no other choice but to embrace the fall, keeping my eyes closed, I went for a free fall but instead of hearing or feeling my bones crack into a million pieces, all I felt was a tight grip around my ankle. "I got you."
My eyes slammed open as I look up still swaying front and back. God did listen to my prayers. I looked up at the sky and winked before tilting my head to look at whining Ella at the top, arm wrapped around Eva's waist whose arms were wrapped around Sky's thighs.
"Oh my god, can I pull you guys up already."
"Oh no-no. Just leave us hanging like this Ella." I replied to her sarcastically.
"What. Of course, I can't you guys will-"
"JUST PULL US UP ALREADY!"
While Ella steadily pulled us up, I manage to wrap my legs around Sky's waist and swing up to grab her arm before fully dragged up and falling into a pile on top of each other. We were panting. Each and everyone was merely surviving the fall. We stared into each other's faces before bursting out into laughter.
