[AUTHOR'S NOTE: Alright peeps! Here's some insight for this chapter, there would be a lot of reference to previous chapters as a form of flashbacks whether it is coming from Scarlett or Hoseok himself. So to avoid any confusion; if it's a flashback that serves as a memory it would be underlined, bolded and italic and if the flashback is repeating itself, it would be bolded and italic without the underlining.]
"DON'T YOU REMEMBER ME?"
[Hoseok]
The glaring sun shone its rays through the broken window sill, brightening up the whole room with its warmth and light. To its disappointment of disturbing my Sunday morning, I was already up and awake with a huge smile on my face. As I walked out of the shower with a wrapped towel around my waist, I run my hands through my wet hair and stood at the window sill looking up to the sky, "Not today sun. Just like yesterday, today will be another amazing day!"
While I enjoy the morning breeze as it dries off the water from my body, my senses told me that someone was looking at me. My legs then started reaching out to grab any physical object that would allow me to induce harm against whoever it was. So I gently kick up a glass bottle of coke that I bought yesterday up in the air as I look ahead to where I sensed the person was staring at me. But to my surprise, it was a rather old lady watering what I assume was meant to be for the plant, staring at my body with eyes wide open.
"Yah ajumma! Watch where you are watering!"
Coming from below, a now drenched looking man had shouted angrily to the old lady in front of me. At this moment all I wanted to do was shut my windows and carry on with my amazing day but before I could do that, I grabbed the falling bottle and began juggling as it was about to slip out of my hands and straight down to the man. "Ajumma," I smiled and bowed slightly to her as a form of respect before finally getting a hold of the bottle. She then flashed me a cute smile as her cheeks blushed red when I smiled and greeted her.
"Well this is awkward," I bowed to her with a small smile before reaching out for the shirt that I've already placed on my bed. And as if the show was over as soon as I put on my shirt, she turned and walked away without even sparing me a second look. "Oh wow, I feel violated"
I chuckled to myself before picking up my keys and my belonging and heading out. Using the chains and a lock pad to secure the front door made me wonder how much I'm sacrificing at this moment, and therefore I shall not stop here. I skipped down the stairs and as soon as I exit the building, I took a deep breath of fresh air as I chanted to myself how today is going to be an amazing day. Ensuring I don't look overly dressed, I glanced over my wristwatch that displayed 9:55 am before making my way to the coffee house across the road.
As I wait for the traffic to clear, my sight caught an elderly man struggling to cross the road. Hoping that this good deed wouldn't take too much of my time, I offered to help him cross the road and as soon as we reached the other side he expressed his gratitude by reminding me to tie my shoelaces. I offered my last bow as I see him off walking into the depths of the crowd. Looking down to my shoes, I crouched onto the ground and began tying my laces. Seeing as to I didn't realise where I was crouching, the door to the shop opened and walking blindly out of the shop was,
"Yes, I know I will be at your- whoaaa!"
"Scarlett watch out,"
I looked up right in time to catch her in my arms and fall back as she walked straight out of the shop and trip onto the crouching me, landing only inches apart from each other's lips. "Just like the time we were in London..." I sighed out and gently shook my head acknowledging that she hasn't changed one bit.
