27. "Boy? Guy?"

Legit can't be bothered to think of a better title here you go ill think of one in the morning

I panicked immediately, he could've been either testing me or he actually knew about Loch, so I decided to play dumb and act like nothing happened.

Me: What boy?

Lukeyy: Oh come on, the guy you were in the city with today, you were hugging and all that crap, it's all over twitter

I looked up as we were approaching my house, I saw Luke's car in the drive and freaked out. He wasn't out the front, so I presumed Sarah must've let him in. Goddamnit, why am I friends with this boy?

Lukeyy: Just so you know I'm waiting at yours, I've told Sarah and will tell Brendon when you get back

I was so frustrated with him, he was always up my ass and was overprotective of me even though I was old enough to make my own decisions and learn from my mistakes. I wasn't a child and I didn't need a 20 year old constantly holding my hand. I turned off my phone and huffed angrily, which caught Brendon's attention.
"Are you good?" He glanced at me as we pulled into the drive.
"Yeah, just angry..." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"About what? You just got your cast off?"
"Oh, you'll find out real soon..." I said sarcastically as I got out of the car and walked towards the front door.
"What?" He said as he followed me, locking the car with the remote control on his keys. I slammed the door open to see Luke and Sarah sitting on the couch, both of their heads turned to me and I gave Luke a dirty look.
"Annie, we have to talk." Sarah said and I rolled my eyes before walking over to her. "Brendon," She continued when Brendon closed the front door. "Sit down." He gave her a strange look before sitting down next to her and I stood in front of them.
"Annie, we know about that boy you were hanging out with today." Luke started. "An-"
"First off, am I not allowed to have a life, and secondly, this conversation is going to be fucking stupid." I cut him off and he looked just a tad bit angry.
"No, this conversation isn't 'fucking stupid' as it's about your safety, why would you get into a relationship after what happened last time?" He mimicked my tone of voice and it made me even angrier.
"I wouldn't have spoken to him at all if I didn't trust him."
"Well why do you trust him?"
"A group of people came up to me yesterday and they were harassing me, but he got them to leave me alone."
"So you trust him because he made sure some people wouldn't bully you?"
"Yes."
"You seem a bit too trusting Annie..." I let out a huge huff of air, frustrated at luke.
"Well I also have a HUGE FUCKING CRUSH ON HIM!" I gave him a look of death, he seemed a bit taken aback.
"Oh... Um..." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and I sighed. "You know your fandom is freaking out and saying how he's going to hurt you like what happened before."
"I need to go post something on every social media I have then." I turned on the my heels before walking off to my room, no one said anything or tried to stop me so I entered my room, shutting the door behind me then taking out my phone and lying on my bed.

I opened twitter, to see the majority of my mentions were related to Lochie, I opened one of the more hateful mentions and read it,
'I cant believe that @annieisagay would jump into a relationship so quickly, she must be a complete whore and Im so ashamed that so many of my friends support her...' I actually raised an eyebrow at the comment then replied to their tweet saying:
'Look, I know it might seem slightly stupid that I'm 'jumping' into a relationship so fast but Ive been talking to him for a month or so and only now am I really trusting him, I trust him a lot and he's one of the few people I actually talk to at school, I bet when you meet him you'll realise how much of a sweetheart he really is.' I posted it in several replies before moving to instagram, to see the majority of my mentions once again were rude, so I responded to one before making a post of my own and posted it. I then decided snapchat would be the final place I would post something, so I opened the app and started recording a video.
"So I'm guessing by now most of you have seen the pictures of me and the boy I was hanging out with today, to answer your questions, yes, we are dating, and no, I'm not jumping into another relationship, I really really trust him..." I took a breath and thought about what I can say next. "I knew that there would be some hate about the relationship, but I didn't want people to know so early to avoid the amount I'm getting right now, I promise you guys that he is such a great person and really is the only person I would date right now because of how incredible he is..." I started smiling and continued. "If any of you send any hate to him after now you obviously aren't a real fan of Brendon or I, and for anyone who will just continue to hate anyways, go get a life and stop harassing a teenager on the internet." I huffed while saying the last part before posting the videos and turning my phone off.
"I've explained stuff!" I yelled and flopped back onto my bed.
