"Shit."
"What?" Ryan opened his mouth to continue talking, but quickly realised what we were worried about. "Please don't tell me you're allergic to nuts..." Ryan gulped and I nodded. "Deathly allergic?"
"Luckily, no. It's just that when I was sick I didn't eat a variety of foods, including nuts. My doctors said that my body has 'forgotten' how to produce the chemicals that break down nuts, so I usually just get sick when I eat nuts, most of the time it's fine and my stomach's just upset but sometimes I throw up for days, it's like a 60 percent chance it won't happen though, I'll probably be fine. So technically it's more of an intolerance than anything." I shrugged and sat put my untouched slices back on the tray.
"Knowing her luck she'll get sick and have to go home early." Brendon sighed, shaking his head. "It's kind of like that time on tour when that fan accidentally gave you chocolate that had nuts in it and you almost threw up all over them." He chuckled, remembering how I had to get Charlie to take me back to the bus and babysit me for a few hours as all the contents of my stomach decided to leave by me throwing it all up.
"Oh okay... Loch, you should've told me about that." He turned his embarrassment to Loch, causing him to become upset.
"What? I thought you weren't going to use Nutella!" He crossed his arms, huffing as he let out a breath.
"Please don't worry! I'll probably be fine!" I smiled awkwardly, trying to calm them down.
"Probably..." Danielle mimicked sarcastically.
"Oh shut up." I groaned, crossing my arms in front of me.
"Dani!" Ryan started getting flustered, his face turning red.
"Ryan it's fine, she's like my only girl friend, I think we're supposed to be sarcastic to each other." I smiled at him, before turning to Dani to give her a rude look, which she gladly returned.

After a couple of seconds of silence Dani decided to speak. "So-um Loch... Do you want to ask her the thing?" She nudged her brother, causing him to scowl at her, ready to do so back until he realised what she said.
"Yeah... Do you think we should?" He looked at his father, only earning a shrug back. "Well, Annie..." He cleared his throat before taking a quick sip of his soda. "Would you like to join Dani and I's band?" He asked hopefully as I looked at them, confused.
"Our old singer left and now there's just Loch, Johan and I..." Danielle continued, elaborating what Loch said.
"Johan... I recognise that name from somewhere..." I sat an elbow on the table, trying to put a face to the name.
"He plays the drums in the school's rock band?" Loch said hopefully, making the sentence more of a question than a statement.
"Oh! Him, with the weird hair?" The unmistakable image of him popped into my head, causing me to let out a small laugh at his hairstyle.
"Yeah, I have no clue how he plays like that but it works and he sounds really good." He shrugged, a smile gracing his lips.
"So?" Danielle questioned, a look of hope stuck on her face. I glanced at Brendon and Sarah, who both smiled and nodded before I accepted their invitation.

~half an hour later or something like that~

We pulled up at the back of the venue, Charlie was already there waiting for me. After I got to know him and stopped being a salty hoe we got along really well and we became close friends, he even became my permanent bodyguard which was exciting.

We said our goodbyes to Ryan before following Charlie inside the building, through a couple of hallways and to an unoccupied dressing room.
"You guys are going to hang out here until the show starts. Annie, you have your glasses, right?" He asked and I nodded, taking out my case and holding it up. "Just so you know I wouldn't have taken you to your place to get them." Before I could make a snarky comment in return, I felt a wave of nausea wash over me which made me lean forward, clutching my stomach.
"Annie?" Loch placed a hand on my back, worried that I could've been dying.
"Please don't tell me you've eaten nuts again..." Charlie sighed and I nodded slightly, trying to stop my head from spinning. "What did you eat?"
"Nutella." Loch answered for me, helping me sit down on the couch.
"Why?" He sighed once again, obviously not wanting to babysit me again.
"It was an accident, I didn't tell dad to not use Nutella in our desert and she ate a fair bit of it before he told us that he used it..."
"Jesus... I'm not on Annie watch if she does throw up." He raised his hands, slowly backing away from us.
"Aren't you supposed to be my security guard?" I gave him a look, holding my stomach to try and sooth the nauseous feeling.
"Yeah, but I'm not your boyfriend."
"Yeah, but you're my legal guardian for tonight." I cocked my head to the side, watching him trip over his words before giving up on trying to make a comeback.
"You two bicker more than Dani and I," Loch chuckled from next to me. "I thought he was meant to protect you, not give excuses as to why he doesn't want to do so..."
"Meant to..." I raised my eyebrows at Charlie.
"As long as I'm still hired to be your bodyguard I can piss you off to a point." He shrugged, he knew that I was lenient with him because of my trust issues, even with the other security guards who were on tour with us.
"To a point, and you're getting quite close to said point." I crossed my arms across my chest, giving him a look that told him I was getting sick of him. "I could easily reduce your pay if I felt like it..."
