"You do know that it's not going to be that easy to get your song back right?"

"Yes. I know it's not going to be that hard. Besides that's not my plan."

"What are you planning then?" Cody asked.

"I'm planning on getting even with him."

"How on earth are you going to do that?"

"Watch me." I looked at him for a second.  I was terrified of doing this to Greyson but when I looked at Cody, it seems like he's much more terrified than I am.

Fast Forward...

The day of the show

20 minutes before the show started Cody visited me on my dressing room.

"Hey."

"Hey how's it going?" I said as I grab a mini cupcake from the table filled with different kinds of desserts.

"You know you're not supposed to eat sweets before you perform right?" He said as I was about to take a bite of the cupcake.

"Oh you're right! Thanks."

"No problem mate." He smiled and grabs a cupcake.

We both took a seat on the couch and watched as the show was about to begin. Ellen walked in and introduces herself and started to make hilarious jokes. Suddenly, a staff came in.

"Ms Eleanor, it's show time." He said, handed me a mic and then walks out of the room.

I took a deep breath and as I was about to open the door, Cody grabs my arm.

"Hey." I turned around to face him.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Goodluck." He gave me a sweet smile then I walked out of the room and went backstage.

Ellen introduced me and I walked in the stage. Everyone gave me a warm welcome. They just smiled at me and clapped their hands. I was so nervous that I was thinking of puking onstage. But thank god I didn't. I turned my attention to Ellen. I took a seat on a red couch and well, the rest is pretty much predictable.

We just talked about random things. Ellen makes some jokes and so did I. Everyone looked entertained. I was imagining they will be bored to death once I went onstage but I was wrong. They seemed to be having a good time. Why wouldn't they be? It's Ellen DeGeneres. There's always clapping hands and big smiles when she's around. I'm becoming less and less nervous because I know she's the one I'm talking to.

"So there have been some rumors spreading that you and my son Greyson Chance dated. Is this true?"

I was really nervous. I don't know what to answer. It's like a dozen butterflies from earlier came rushing back to me.

"Uhm well. No." I looked at the audience and they looked shocked. Seems like they know I was lying. "But we were good friends back then while I was living in Edmond."

"Ahh I see." She winked at me and everyone laughed. "Well this maybe a good time for a little reunion."

My eyes grew. My brain started going all crazy. What is she up to? I hope it's not what I think it is. "What?"

"Give it up for Greyson Chance!"

I was shocked. The butterflies in my stomach are not happy anymore.

I turned around and I saw him come out. He saw me and he seemed surprised.

"Hey Ellen!" He said then hugged her.

"Why hello! It's nice to see you again." She said and smiled

"Yeah me too." I was sure that he doesn't want to turn his direction on me.

"Why don't you have a seat?" Ellen suggested. Greyson's eye grew big.

"What?" He asked.

"Take a seat."

"Where?" I rolled my eyes. The audience laughs and so did Ellen.

"Next to Eleanor silly."

"Oh hi." He finally looked at me and for the first time in four years I can hear him talk again in personal. He took a seat next to me but still leaving a huge gap in the middle.

"Uhm Hello." I said.

"So Eleanor told us that you two are good friends." Ellen turned to Greyson.

"Uhm yes we are good friends back then."

"So what happened?" Then she turned to me to answer.

"Uhm! We-e got separated." He said. Wow that was such a good mood killer. The audience just sat there. It feels like you can actually hear crickets.

*cricket* cricket*

Ellen looked at Greyson and stopped for a bit before moving on to the next question.

"So Eleanor did you miss Greyson?" I was shocked. I mean, what kind of a question is this?!

"Uhm of course I did. You know he was like my best friend and when he left to make his dreams come true, it feels like a part of me just went with him. I mean, you'll never know when you will be letting someone go. It's hard for everyone." I gazed at him while saying every word. I can't help but look into his eyes; those gorgeous brown eyes. I knew then, I'm still in love him.  Then everyone went "awww!"

"That's pretty sweet Eleanor. Greyson would you like to say something to her?"

"Yeah. I think I do." Every leans a bit closer to hear what he's about to say. He just stared at me and smiled. I looked at Ellen and she looked excited as well. "Good luck on your career." He looked away and smiled at the audience. Everything went from sweet to awkward. I was so mad at him.  That's all he has to say after four years and for stealing my song?! I was expecting something longer than that Mr. Chance!

"A-nd we'll be right back."

The show was off camera and we all went back stage. Greyson ran away and Ellen followed him. I was left alone so I went back to my dressing room.
